Peter: Everyone ready to find Mike and the soul machines?

Valerie: Yes, honey.

Micky: Ready.

Davy: Me, too.

Daphne: And me.

(We open right where we left off, with the others walking up the steps to the main deck.)

Peter: I think we can scratch the idea that the Devils don't know we're here. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they knew we'd follow from the very beginning.

Valerie: Trying to get all of us again.

Micky: I'm inclined to believe that they've simply been waiting for us to show up.

Sheila: (Ducks her head into the stairway) And I'm inclined to think you're right.

Peter: Sheila!

(The pirates drag the group onto the main deck. The older, shipwrecked deck is tied to Sheila's yacht. Sheila makes the groups' weapons disappear in a black light.)

Sheila: I knew it would work. Take one of you...and you get all of you.

Micky: I really hate being right sometimes. :P

(Mike is still in the glass jar in Alex's hands. The top now has airholes. He shakes his head, his eyes wide with horror.)

Sheila: Good. You're all in time to see us keep our word. We're going to take Mr. Nesmith's soul.

Peter: NO!

Alex: Might I suggest we get rid of a few problems first?

Sheila: Like? (She's eyeing Mike, who glares at her)

Captain Harris: I'd say get rid of the whole lot, if you ask me.

Sheila: No one asked you, Captain.

Alex: The Bard and the Savage. I think they should walk the plank.

Peter: We've already done that, thank you very much!

Sheila: Oh goody! Then you'll have no problems doing it again!

Peter: Once was enough!

(Three of the pirates tie Micky and Peter's hands behind their backs. Sheila smirks and rubs their heads.)

Alex: Much better.

Captain Harris: I'd still rather see the lot of you go, but this will work. (He prods Micky and Peter onto a makeshift plank of wood taken from the wreck) Real pirates don't make their victims walk the plank anymore. They usually just shoot them. (Smirks) This could be fun, though.

Valerie: No! (She runs for the plank, but Zelda grabs her arms. Two pirates grab Davy and Daphne.)

Peter: Sheila, this is your last chance. Free those souls and Michael.

Sheila: You've been spending too much time around the White Knight, Bard. You're starting to sound like him.

(Alex puts Mike's jar on a table made of a barrel and a board. He joins three of the pirates in prodding Peter and Micky.)

Alex: Walk already!

Peter: (Leans over Micky and whispers) Follow my lead, Mick.

Micky: Okay...

(Peter takes a breath, closes his eyes, and walks off the platform. There's a splash below.)

Valerie: (Screams) PETTERRRR! NOOOO!

Alex: *Grins* Now you, Savage!

*Micky actually jumps from the plank instead of walking off. There's a splash below.*

Alex: Much better.

(Cut to the underside of the ship. Peter is already working the ropes off of Micky's wrists.)

Peter: I guess your head's still kind of messy from the cave. Sheila's muddling barely had any effect on me. We must be getting beyond that.

Peter: We're going to climb back up there and see if we can free Mike without being spotted. I guess you wouldn't have any of that invisible spray...

Micky: I can try... *Attempts to imagine it, but the blue light just fizzles out* Man...

Peter: I'll think of something else when we get up there, then. (Nods) Get on my back, Micky. I'll get us both up there.

*Micky climbs onto Peter's back.*

(As the boys climb up the anchor rope to the main deck, Captain Harris and Alex look over the side on the other half of the ship.)

Captain Harris: (Frowns) Don't see the blokes down there. Either they've swam off, or they were shark bait.

Valerie: (She struggles in Zelda's grasp) Damn it, you're gonna pay for this!

Sheila: Not in the slightest. Alex, you can release the White Knight now. (Smirks) But keep him restrained. We don't want him running off.

Alex: Of course. *There's a black light over the jar; when it disappears, Mike has been returned to his normal height. His hands are tied behind his back.*

Mike: (Shakes his head) Oh man... (struggles) Alex, what are you doin'?

(As Mike talks, the camera moves over to the other side of the deck. Peter and Micky flop ungracefully onto the deck.)

Peter: (Whispers) Micky, how many of Millie's cheesecakes have you been eating lately?

Micky: Not funny, Pete.

Peter: We have to think of a way to get around... (sees a tarp on a lifeboat next to them) I have an idea.

(Cut to the front deck again. We now see a tarp moving around in the background.)

Mike: Sheila, you can have my soul....but on one condition, and one condition only.

Sheila: Which is?

Captain Harris: Have his soul?

Mike: Let the others go.

Sheila: Of course not! I want their souls almost as much as your own strong one.

Mike: Then just let the Abbies and the Martians go. They ain't of no interest to you.

(The tarp moves closer to Mike. One hand reaches out to take a swipe at Alex's ankle, but another, lighter hand slaps the first and grabs it back.)

Sheila: Them, we'll let go. (Looks at Davy, then at Mike) The rest of you, however, will stay with us. The ladies will make excellent handmaidens.

Valerie: I'd rather die!

Sheila: That can be arranged!

Valerie: Nooo... (She struggles hard in Zelda's arms, kicking at her)

Sheila: I grow tired of this bargaining! Alex, take the White Knight's soul!

*Alex grabs the machine and holds it at Mike.*

(The tarp gets closer to Alex...then bangs into a pole. Peter and Micky briefly takes off the tarp, Micky rubbing his head.)

Peter: You ok, Mick?

Micky: I don't think so.

Peter: (Looks up) Oh man...Mick, follow me! I'll get Alex. You get the soul machine!

Micky: Huh? Okay...

("Gettin’ In" begins as Peter throws the tarp over Alex's head!)

*Alex fights against the tarp, trying to find his way out.*

(Valerie kicks Zelda in the shin. She lets her go. Valerie runs to Mike to untie his wrists.)

(Sheila tries to get to the soul machine, which Alex has dropped, but Micky manages to get to it first!)

*Micky exclaims "Ah HA!" then winces, holding the machine to him and wishing he hadn't done that.*

(Sheila smirks and rubs Micky's head. He's already a bit woozy...)

(Mike takes off after Captain Harris to slow him down.)

*Davy runs over, grabbing the machine from Micky, who's just dropped it. Daphne jumps on Sheila's back.*

(Sheila bucks and struggles, but Daphne's very strong and holds on tight!)

*Micky slumps out of the way, groaning about his head.*

(Valerie duels with Alex. Mike ducks Captain Harris' gunshots. Davy duels with two pirates at once!)

(Peter shoots his arrows at the pirates. Like before, instead of piercing the men, they turn them into something silly. One pirate turns into a "butterfly"....but not an actual butterfly. Just a big, burly guy in a butterfly costume.)

(Alex gets Valerie against the mast...but she grabs the tarp and throws it over again, making her escape while he’s tangled.)

*Micky, despite being down, still holds the machine.*

Sheila: (Over the music) Blast it! Alex, get the machine! (Tries to claw Daphne off) Were you a bloody starfish in a former life? Let go! :P

Peter: Oh no you don't, Alex! (He shoots Alex from behind.)

Alex: *Still struggling with the tarp* I can't get out of this damn tarp!

*Alex ends up in a dress, despite still being under the tarp!*

Peter: (Rubs the arrow with his fingers) My arrows are sharp enough to pierce anything....even tarps.

Mike: (He finally shoves Captain Harris against the side of the boat) Ok Sheila, release those souls, or I'm gonna have Pete turn Alex and Zelda into a girl and a boy.

Sheila: I think Alex would be a smashing girl!

Alex: *From under the tarp* I heard that!

Sheila: May I remind you that you're all outnumbered, and I could...ouch!

(There's a green light around Sheila when an arrow seems to hit her bottom. When it subsides...there's nothing but a black crystal on the ground.)

Sheila: (From the crystal) Damn it, let me outta here!

Peter: (Picks up the crystal) This is only temporary, Sheila. It's not like what our ancestors did to Ursula.

Mike: (Growls) But we could figure out a way to make it permanent if you don't call these guys off.

(Valerie whispers something to Peter. He nods, and she slips away.)

Sheila: Damn it! Alex, get me outta this thing!

Alex: Dammit, Sheila, get ME outta THIS thing!

Davy: *Holds onto Micky and takes the machine into his free hand* Here's the machine.

Captain Harris: (As Mike reaches for his throat) I think this boy's serious! He's got a crazy look in his eyes!

Peter: Michael, back off him. Keep your sword on him, not your hands. We don't want to hurt him.

Mike: I do.

Peter: What happened to Em isn't his fault.

(Mike growls, but he finally backs off...but keeps his sword close.)

Davy: Now, how do we release the souls?

Micky: *Dazedly points at a button* Push the release button.

Davy: Oh. Thanks, mate. Here we go... *pushes the "release" button*

(The machine glows with a blackish light. There's a noisy hum as tiny flashes of various colored lights are released from a hole in the side of the machine.)

Mike: Shit, there's a lot more than what you guys got off us comin' out of there.

Peter: (He points his crossbow at the only devil still standing, Zelda) You did steal the souls from those other victims, didn't you? The ones in the party boats.

Zelda: *Frowns* Yes, we did.

Mike: I knew it. That's why they were described as feelin' listless.

Captain Harris: What do you mean, they were feelin' listless? I thought we were rippin' off their valuables!

Sheila: (Smirk in her voice) We were rippin' off their valuables. The valuables we were after were different than the ones you were after.

Peter: Where's the equipment?

Sheila: In the hold of their ship. (Indicates Captain Harris)

Captain Harris: You're going back on your deal, Miss Saunders! We were supposed to get most of that equipment!

Sheila: I don't have much of a choice now, do I? Do you think I want to stay in this bloody crystal forever?

Captain Harris: I don't know how you got in a crystal, or if that's even you, but we ain't giving up that equipment! It'll net us millions of dollars on the black market!

Mike: Micky, go see if the equipment's there.

Peter: (Nods) I wouldn't trust the Devils any further than I could throw them.

Micky: Okay... *wanders over to the hold*

Peter: Davy, help Alex out of that tarp. Daphne, keep an eye on Zelda.

*Davy pulls the tarp off Alex.*

Alex: About damn time.

Peter: We can't help it. When we find a good gag, we have to make it go as long as possible.

Sheila: Now, could you let me out? This is terribly cramped.

Captain Harris: I'd like to know how the guy did it in the first place.

Peter: I'll let you out...but I'm not going to let you go. (He shoots the crystal. When the green light subsides, Sheila reappears, this time handcuffed. He concentrates; more handcuffs appear) Here, guys. Put these on Alex, Zelda, and the Captain.

Mike: (Slaps the handcuffs on Captain Harris) Here ya go, fella.

Peter: (We hear a horn from another boat as Davy and Daphne slap the handcuffs on Alex and Zelda) And there's our back-up. (Micky runs up from the hold.)

Micky: The equipment is down there.

Valerie: (She runs up...just as the ship arrives) The Coast Guard and FBI have arrived! (Smirks) Turns out Captain William Harris and his band of modern cutthroats have been on their most wanted lists for years for smuggling and armed nautical robbery.

(Emma and Mrs. Marion arrive with the Coast Guard. Emma runs over to Mike.)

Emma: Baby! (She embraces him.) Are you ok? I knew you were there, and I just...I didn't care. I couldn't feel. I couldn't feel anything!

Mike: Shh, darlin'. Don't say it.

Mrs. Marion: (She frowns at Micky) Are you all right? You look woozy.

Micky: I've been better.

Coast Guard Captain: (Smirks at Alex) Nice dress.

*Alex just grumbles.*

Mrs. Marion: (Puts her arm around Micky) Why don't we go back to my house? I'll make a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies and hot peppermint tea, and we can discuss this.

Sheila: Damn it, Alex, this was all your idea! You were the one who built that infernal soul machine!

Alex: Oh, shut up, Sheila.

Micky: *Grins at Mrs. Marion* I like cookies.

Mrs. Marion: I know you do.

Peter: He's really out of it. Maybe we'd better call Lauren back from Micky's mom's house when we get in.

Mike: She probably already has some idea.

Captain Harris: (As they lead him away) I'm innocent! Ok, so I stole the damn equipment. At least I didn't steal the souls!

Mike: (As he hugs Emma close to him) You think they'll believe him?

Peter: (Pulls Valerie close to him) Nahhhh.

Mrs. Marion: (Smiles at Micky as they head for the Coast Guard ship and the MonkeeMobile) Let's go home, Micky.

Micky: Okay.

Peter and Mike: (In unison) Let's go home, Monkeeleague! (They just look at each other...and laugh. We fade out on them laughing as they join the others)
