Part 7

Sooooo...who wants to see Micky and Lauren's house? :D

Mike: Love ta, darlin'. :)

Peter: Me! Me! :D

Lauren: ME!!! ;)

Davy: Wouldn't mind seein' it again. :)

*The next day, the entire group, minus the babies, who are being watched by their Nana, is standing outside Micky's and Lauren's house.*

Micky: *puts the key in the lock; pauses* Are we ready?

(A loud, collective "YEAH!" comes up from the group, which includes the other Monkees, Emma, and Valerie.)

Lauren: Come on, Mick! If it's this beautiful on the outside...

Mike: Cut the suspense, man!

Micky: *grins* I'm just milking the moment for all its worth. *turns the key, opens the door, and lets everyone in*

Lauren: *looks around; eyes widen* Oh, my Lord...

Emma: This place is HUGE! :o

Mike: Where's the bandstand?

Peter: Wow! Look at the kitchen! And there's a big backyard! (Runs in the back)

Micky: (Grins at his best friend) You called it, Dave. (Turns to Mike) It's in back, Mike. I think you're gonna like it. *waves them on, headed through the living room towards the bandstand*

(Everyone but Peter follows Mick in the back. Mike is the last person in. He stops when he gets in the room, his eyes widening.)

Mike: (Softly) Oh, Mick...

Emma: Good lord allmighty, Micky, that stage is enormous!

Micky: *puts an arm around Mike's shoulder* You like? *grins* ;)

Mike: (Nods) I like. (Gives Micky a squeeze) I like a lot. Nice work, Mick. :)

Davy: It's just wot we need. No more cramped spaces, lots of room for the instruments, even Petah's piano.

*Lauren's jaw is practically on the floor.*

Micky: *motions to Lauren* Good thing I waited until AFTER she had the twins.

Emma: Yeah, it looks like someone's gonna need to catch her. (Takes her friend's shoulder) You ok, honey?

Lauren: I'm just in complete awe. It's absolutely amazing! Mick, this house is fabulous, and I haven't even SEEN all of it yet! :D

(Peter wanders in, and his jaws also drop. His light brown eyes grow to three times their normal size.)

Peter: W...wow! That's one BIG bandstand!

Valerie: This is a great place, Micky. This bandstand is almost professional size!

Micky: Ah, my biggest critics approve. *grins*

Mike: (Walks around, looking over the walls and stage area) Good acoustics?

Micky: *nods* Excellent.

Mike: Maybe we ought to test-drive her.

Micky: Want to now?

Mike: Would LOVE to, Mick.

Peter: But the instruments aren't here.

Micky: *grins at Peter* Allow me!

Davy: Go right a'ead, Mick.

*Micky concentrates on the bandstand. A dark blue light slowly grows until it leaves behind all of the instruments & amps.*

Micky: *grins* That's what I was going for. *motions to the full bandstand* How's THAT? ;)

Mike: Oh, man... (Goes up onstage and puts on Black Beauty, looking out to the mostly-empty room with a gentle, thoughtful look)

Peter: (As he puts on his bass) What's wrong, Mike?

Mike: (Sighs) The last time I was on a stage this size, I was in high school, cuttin' class and hidin' in the auditorium. I used to stand on the stage and just know I wanted to be there someday, playing for a live audience...

Peter: (Nods) I've never played on a stage this big, either! Even some of the stages at the clubs aren't this size!

Valerie: (Sighs as she sits at a piano) I used to go up to Hollywood Bowl and pretend I was giving a piano concert for a thousand people when I was little and Dad had business in the area.

Davy: (Grins) It's almost as good as bein' back on Broadway! (Blows kisses to the "audience" - Emma and Lauren) My public! ;) (Picks up his maracas)

Micky: *sits behind the drumkit & twirls his sticks* Your public? Half of that public is mine, and the other half's Mike's! *grins and taps out a riff*

Peter: Your public is rehearsing for her gig at the Club Fairview! ;)

Davy: Well, I'm friends wit' them, ain't I? They count.

Lauren: This is too good to just stand out here! *picks up a tambourine* I gotta play, too.

(Emma sighs and looks down, a bit sadly.)

Emma: I wish I could play.

Lauren: Oh, come on, Em, you can sing! *waves her up on the stage*

Mike: That's right, darlin'. That's somethin'. (Puts his arms around hers and draws her to his microphone.)

Micky: You can pick the song, Em.

(Emma still looks a little sad, but she smiles.)

Emma: Well... (smiles at Micky) how about "Pleasant Valley Sunday?"

Micky: *grins* Sure!

(And the boys launch into "Pleasant Valley Sunday." As the song continues, we see everyone running all over the backyard, playing on a swing set, then in the front yard, and into the downstairs area as the song ends. Everyone is teasing each other and scaring each other and ducking under and around each other. The song ends with everyone playing the song in the music room again.)

Peter: (Grins as the music ends) You know what would be really groovy?

Micky: What's that, Pete?

Peter: We should paint the walls psychadelic colors! Red, orange, blue...this could be our own Rainbow Room! :D

Mike: Dunno, Pete...

*Micky's eyes widen and light up.*

Davy: Oh, man...

Lauren: *grins* Uh oh, Peter, you just gave him an idea.

Emma: That's scary.

Peter: Wow, I gave Micky an idea? Groovy! :D

Micky: *stands* It's brilliant! And we didn't even need the lightbulb.

Peter: Yeah! Our own Rainbow Room, just for playing music! It'll be all nice, cheerful colors, to make us happy when we're playing.

Mike: If anything can prevent another blow-up like a couple of days ago, I'm all for it.

Valerie: Not to mention another NIGHTMARE like a week or so ago.

Micky: LET'S DO IT!!! Let's paint!

Mike: Wait, Mick, we ain't exactly prepared to be maintenance men...(Emma glares at him)...people.

Davy: And we should at least covah the instruments.

Micky: Mike, I've got tarps. I've already done my fair share of painting, plus more for this house. If I want a rainbow, I'm gonna MAKE a rainbow room.

Davy: 'Is 'ouse, man.

Mike: Yeah, well, WE'VE gotta be covered, too.

Emma: I can handle that. (Emma closes her eyes. There's a light, and everyone is wearing coveralls. Her coveralls are simple khaki) There. Much better.

Micky: See that?

Peter: (His coveralls are bright red paisley) GROOVY!

Mike: (His are dark blue) Better than nuthin'.

Lauren: *her overalls are plain denim, with a purple doo rag sticking out of a back pocket* Nice, Em! :D

Valerie: (Wears stylishly fitted yellow coveralls, her hair covered with a green kerchief) VERY nice. :D

Emma: You're welcome, dear. (Shrugs) I remember Ursula saying the women have stronger imagination powers than the men. Thought I'd make use of them.

Micky: *regular denim overalls* Great job.

Davy: (His are green) Ok, now, Mick, let's get the paint and get to work.

Micky: *jerks a thumb* There's some tarps out in the garage that we can use, plus the leftover paint.

Mike: Come on, Pete. We'll get the tarps.

Davy: Why don't we do it the quick way? (Closes his eyes - blue light, and the tarps and paint appear.)

Micky: All right, Dave! Now it's my turn. *concentrates on the tarps & they cover over the instruments completely* :)

Mike: Much better.

Valerie: Better cover the floor, too. It's hardwood. (She closes her eyes - blue light, and there are now tarps on the floor as well)

Micky: *grins* And to think before I had to do all of this the manual way. *grabs two brushes and a paint can; hands one brush to Lauren* Let's get painting! :D

Peter: YEAH! (Grabs a brush and can) I get orange!

Mike: I'll take the blue. (Picks up a can)

Emma: (Hands him a brush and takes one for herself) Here's light blue and red.

Micky: *holds up the can* Purple! *grins at Lauren*

Lauren: *grins* Always thinking of me. ;)

Micky: Of course! :D

Davy: (Grins) And very litt'l else, luv.

Micky: What else is there to think about?

*"Daydream Believer" begins as the group separates and goes about painting with their respective colors.*

(Valerie lugs a can of yellow paint over to next to Peter.)

*Micky makes a ladder appear and grins. Lauren grins back, but proceeds to put a dab of purple paint on Micky's nose. He looks at it crosseyed for a moment, then shrugs and climbs the ladder.*

(Davy looks at the wall and makes a face. He can't reach the top. Peter comes over. He closes his eyes, and a ladder appears in his hand. Davy grins, takes the ladder, and climbs it.)

(Mike and Emma are next to each other. Mike crosses over her to get his paint can, accidentally getting paint on her coveralls on the way over. She makes a face and smears her brush across his cheek. He pulls his across her stomach, and soon the two are putting more paint on each other than the wall.)

*Lauren paints a lower part of the wall, as Micky descends his ladder. He sneaks up behind her and reaches to paint over her shoulder. She jumps as his hand moves past and gets a purple streak on her cheek. She rolls her eyes. Micky smirks.*

(As Mike walks past him, Davy mischeviously paints "kick me" on his rear end. Emma giggles, but doesn't kick.)

*Micky laughs outright and DOES kick Mike.*

(Mike jumps as everyone laughs, turns around, and chases after Micky and Davy with a brush full of dark blue paint.)

(As the music ends, everyone stands back to inspect their work. The walls now resemble the famous "Rainbow Room" videos of the original show...and the kids do, too, for they've gotten almost as much paint on themselves as the walls.)

Mike: Not bad.

Emma: Us, or the walls? ;)

Micky: *nods* Both.

Lauren: That was fun!

Peter: Yeah! This house has so many wonderful, happy vibes! You must have really been in a good mood building it, Micky.

Micky: Of course! *pulls Lauren to him* I had Lauren in mind the whole time!

Lauren: Aw... :">

Mike: Love will do that to ya, Pete.

Davy: Should we attempt to see the rest of the 'ouse, or are we too much of a mess?

Micky: Well, if we need to really clean up, who's for a jump in the pool? *grins*

Mike: And me without my bathing suit.

*Micky rolls his eyes, still grinning.*

(Valerie closes her eyes this time. There's another light, and now everyone's wearing bathing suits and free of paint.)

Valerie: (Adjusts her sunglasses) Much better.

Lauren: *quirks an eyebrow* Pool?

Emma: You can just stick your feet in, Laur.

Peter: (Cheers) YEAH!

Davy: Let's go!

Micky: *hugs Lauren to him again* Yeah, Babe, come on!

Lauren: *sighs at Micky's hopeful look* I can't say no to that face. All right, but I'm JUST gonna stick my feet in. *pokes him* Got it?

Micky: Got it.

(Micky leads the group out to the pool area. Peter drops his towel on the concrete, takes a running start, and cannonballs in...splashing water on everyone else.)

Mike: Hey, Pete, watch the shower!

Emma: It's not supposed to rain TODAY!

Valerie: Careful, honey. You don't wanna hurt yourself!

Micky: *laughs* CANNONBALL!! *takes a running leap and does his own cannonball* ;)

Lauren: *grins* Oh, good grief.

Davy: My turn! (Jumps in)

(Emma grins, but Mike makes a face.)

*Lauren sits on the edge and sticks her feet in.* :)

Mike: (Steps back...towards the pool) Yeah, honey, I'll get in, but I ain't gonna jump in like I'm artillery or somethin...

Micky: *surfaces and spits a stream of water out at Mike* Oh, come on, Mike!

Emma: Oh, Mike, come on!

(Davy elbows Micky and Peter and points to Mike, making a gesture like he's pulling something in. The others grin.)

Emma: MIIIIIIKKKKKEEEE...

Mike: I'm gonna get in, darlin'. I'll just do it nice and quiet and...

Davy: (Whispers to Micky) Ok, got 'is legs, Mick?

Micky: *whispers* Got 'em.

Mike: What the...

(But before Mike can react, his legs are jerked out from under him.)

Mike: EEEMMMMM! (He grabs Emma as he falls backwards into the pool as Valerie joins Lauren on the side)

(Both Nesmiths wind up in the pool and come up sputtering as the other three boys dive for cover.)

*Lauren chuckles.*

(Valerie giggles.)

Emma: (Runs her fingers through her long, wavy hair) Oh, man...

Mike: (Coughs, spitting water) Man, I wasn't ready! (Grins and splashes the other three boys) You wanna play like that? I can play like that! (Chases after them as Emma swims over to Lauren and Valerie)

Emma: (Sighs and smiles) Mike can be as dignified as he wants, but I think there's still a little cowboy somewhere under the very serious adult.

(There's a blue light, and Mike is picking up Micky and throwing him to the other side of the pool, laughing.)

Lauren: *grins* Yeah, I think that's your proof right there.

Micky: *resurfaces; puts his thumbs to his ears* Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah! :P

(Mike ducks under and chases after Micky.)

Mike: Man, Mick, come back here! I ain't done with you yet!

Micky: Gotta catch me first!

Lauren: And somewhere under all of Micky's silliness is more silliness.

Valerie: And Peter...sometimes you'll see the child, and sometimes, you'll see the adult interlectual. (Smiles) Keeps me on my toes.

Emma: Hey, Lauren, how are you feeling? How's the kids?

Lauren: I'm feeling a lot better. No more pain is a good thing. The kids are doing great, despite waking up on the hour every hour.

Valerie: Babies do that. I don't think Chrissy ever slept.

Lauren: We're trying to take turns, but it doesn't quite always work.

Emma: Where are the kids today, anyway? Left them with Nana Janelle?

Valerie: Because Micky's one of the world's heaviest sleepers, right, Laur?

Lauren: She nearly threatened us that she HAD to watch them today. *nods, grinning* Trying to wake Mick in the middle of the night has to be the hardest thing I've ever attempted. Amazingly, one good wail from just one of the kids can get him on his feet in two seconds flat.

Emma: I've wondered. Are you two...linked...to the kids the way you're linked to each other?

Valerie: The kids are probably linked to each other, too, and not just because of their powers, either. I've read that sort of thing is common with twins.

Lauren: I think so. It's a little hard to tell right now since the kids can't really control or use their powers. *nods at Valerie* I've heard the same. It'll be interesting when they get older.

Emma: (Nods; puts a hand unconsciously on her stomach) I...Mike and I want to start a family of our own. (Grins) Contrary to popular belief, we HAVE been together.

*Lauren laughs.*

Emma: It's just...sometimes I'm home late, or he'll be home late, or we'll BOTH be home late, and he'll be working on something or I'll be working on something, and we won't quite get to it. (Small smile) I know I'm not pregnant now, that's for sure.

Lauren: It'll happen sooner or later, but I'm sure you two will be a little more prepared. Atleast you'll have been married longer. *grins*

Valerie: Lauren, you know if either you or Micky need any help, all you need to do is call the mansion or the Pad. One of us is usually home.

Lauren: *nods* I know, & we really appreciate it. I think we'll do okay. I'm just worried about myself being run ragged not only chasing after the kids, but Mick, too.

Emma: (Watches as Micky and Davy chase after Mike while Peter laughs) I think you'll have plenty of people to help you chase after all three of them.

*Lauren nods, watching the guys with a smile firmly in place.*

Valerie: Are you going to have more kids?

Emma: In the distant future?

Lauren: *pauses a moment* Maybe. *grins at Emma* You just hit the nail right on the head. ;)

Emma: Two little Dolenzes should be more than enough right now!

Valerie: Make that three little Dolenzes.

Lauren: Yeah. *chuckles; Micky's making faces trying to bait Mike*

(Mike crosses his arms and stands there, grumbling, but doesn't see Davy coming up behind him.)

Davy: (Grabs Mike) I've got 'im, Mick! Get 'is feet!

Mike: HEY!

Micky: Got 'im! *dives under for Mike's feet*

Mike: (thrashes, shaking his head and laughing) Guys....

Peter: Hey! Don't pick on Mike! (Closes his eyes - a blow-up vinyl "shark" appears in a blue light) I'm coming to save you, Mike!

Davy: We've got you, White Knight, and we ain't gonna let go! Ok, Mick, tickle 'is feet!

Mike: (Eyes widen) WHAT?

*Micky starts tickling Mike's feet.*

(Mike laughs uncontrollably; the girls laugh, too.)

Mike: GUUUUYYYYSSSSS...

Davy: Ok, let's soak 'im!

Mike: (Still laughing) Hey

*Micky resurfaces and helps Davy dunk Mike.*

Mike: (Comes up as Peter arrives with the "shark" - Peter pulls him up) Oh, man, you guys are DEAD!

Micky: You gonna sic Jaws on us, Pete?

Peter: Yeah! (Grins and chases Davy and Micky around the pool while floating on the shark while Mike recovers)

Emma: (Rolls her eyes) Oh, good grief. Forget THREE kids. We have SIX!

Valerie: I thought that was kind of cute.

Lauren: They're just messing around.

Emma: Hey, Valerie, what about you? Peter mentioned you were looking for a house here.

Valerie: Yes, I am. I'm talking with some of the local real estate companies about finding large houses in the Malibu Beach area. Nothing like Dad's mansion, but still a good size. We'll have a third playing venue, if nothing else. :)

Lauren: Awesome!

Valerie: (Sighs) I HAVE to get away from Dad. I love him and Chrissy, but he can be so...controlling. I think he just misses my mother. (Quietly) I miss my mother. She died about a year after Chrissy was born of cancer. Chris doesn't even know her.

Lauren: That's terrible.

Emma: Oh, Val...

Valerie: (Blinks, then smiles) That's why I like hearing Peter talk about his mother. She sounds like a wonderful woman. (Sighs) Dad wants me to take over the family business. I'm his only "son." I just not interested in business. My business is music. I'm wondering if I could take over the Music Society from Dad. He's so busy, and I love playing as much as Peter does.

Lauren: *nods* Maybe you could.

Emma: That might be good for you. Give you something away from your dad, something you and Peter can do together.

Valerie: (Watches Peter - all four boys now have blow-up toys and are hitting each other with them) I want to do so much more with Peter. That's why I'm trying to move here. Peter's even won Dad over. He's not crazy about the music aspect, but he's come around since Peter started teaching it. For all his bluster, he does love children. He tries to go to any of Chrissy's PTA meetings he can. I do, too. (Very softly) I love Peter so much. He's the sweetest, gentlest man alive, and I want to make sure no one else tries to take his soul. (Cringes) When Zero had his fingers on his chest in the attic of the Montgomery House, my heart just about stopped. I could feel Peter's fear. It was so overwhelming, it almost knocked me over.

Emma: (Smiles) We're here to help you, Val. We don't want Peter or any of us to get hurt that way again. And anyway, no more claws. Zero's gone, remember?

Valerie: Yes, but Shelia...

Emma: Is gone, too.

Lauren: *nods* And we're all here for each other.

(The boys swim over to the girls, panting and out of breath but happy.)

Mike: Oh, man, that was FUN! :D

Peter: We should have pool parties all the time!

Micky: *grins* Forget trying to get you guys to visit, I'm worried about getting you guys OUTTA the house!

Emma: Speaking of the house, we haven't seen all of it yet.

Peter: And it's getting cloudy. It looks like it might rain again.

Davy: Time to go in.

Micky: *makes a face* Figures.

Valerie: We'll do it the easy way. (Closes her eyes - there's a light, and all four are back in the foyer in their original clothes and dry)

Emma: (Grins) There's something to be said for the easy way.

Lauren: Definitely.

Mike: Well, now that we've had our exercise, can we have the rest of the tour, Mick?

Micky: Sure! *leads them back through to the living room* There's just the bedroom left in the back, then the upstairs.

Mike: Can we go upstairs?

Peter: I'll bet it has a great view!

Micky: Let's go. *grins* You won't believe the view.

Lauren: *as they go up the staircase* I'm assuming the bannister is wide for a reason, Mick.

Davy: Not 'ard to guess.

Mike: We'll all stay outta your way when you're in that mood.

Micky: *waves it off* I'm ALWAYS in that mood! :D

Peter: I wanna try that! (Jumps on and slides down) Ooooh, Mick's right, it IS fun!

Valerie: Peter! (Gives Micky a mock-glare) Look what you did, Mick! You corrupted my boyfriend!

Micky: *grins, rubbing his hands together* Who's next? *cackles* ;) :D

Davy: Always wanted to try this. (Jumps on the bannister and slides.) We ought to 'ave a contest sometime, Mick.

Mike: Oh no, you don't. When you two have contests, you get nasty, like at the party the other day.

Micky: Anytime, Dave. I'll whup your butt! *grins at Mike* Hey, that was mainly because I thought you guys forgot it was my birthday. You know I'm better than that.

Emma: Just watch the passion you two, ok?

Davy: We will! We'll only beat each othah up when we're mad.

Micky: Darn right!

Lauren: *rolls her eyes, then grins* Guys... ;)

Mike: Ok, ok, you two. Enough horse-play. Let's go upstairs.

Peter: Don't you mean tiger-and-panther-play?

*Micky laughs, headed back up the stairs.*

(Davy chuckles as he and the others join him.)

*Micky takes them into the loft on the second floor & points out the two bedrooms, plus guest room.*

Micky: The only thing I haven't quite figured out is which room to settle us in for now...

Peter: (Runs to a window in the main bedroom; Valerie joins him) WOW! Look at this view!

Valerie: You can see straight to the docks from here!

Peter: Take this big one!

Mike: (Walks through each room, nodding) Very nice.

Emma: (Sits by the other window) Oh, that IS gorgeous, even with the clouds!

Micky: *chuckles* But we wanna keep the room we pick. Ahh, we'll figure it out.

Mike: Yeah, the kids are still little.

Lauren: BEYOND gorgeous... *wanders around the room*

Emma: You might even be better off keeping the kids in the same room as you while they're still newborns. (Grins) Keefe often slept with Mom and Dad until he was almost eight.

Micky: *nods, then chuckles* I don't know about until they're eight.

Valerie: Chrissy still climbs in bed with Dad when she's upset or scared.

Peter: (Turns to Micky) There's so much love in this house, Micky, and in the yard. It practically radiates it.

Micky: *grins* Thanks, Peter. Every moment I put into working on this house, I had nothing but good thoughts.

Mike: And it looks great, Mick. All your hard work really paid off.

Lauren: *wraps her arms around Micky's waist* It's amazing, Mick. This is the most wonderful surprise I've ever had.

Micky: Aw, it's nothin'. *winks and gives her a kiss*

Mike: (Puts his hand on Micky's shoulder) Nice work, Mick. This house is really special.

Peter: It's a true house of happiness.

Valerie: I'm just glad we can all be IN this lovely house TOGETHER.

Micky: *nods* Yeah.

Mike: And in one piece, and doing decently.

Emma: We're really a team now, aren't we?

Davy: Yeah.

Lauren: We sure are.

Peter: Even when we live in different places, we can still help one another.

Mike: We ought to bring the kids over to Miss Crystal sometime. Let her see the new Dolenzes.

Davy: Or get Miss C here.

Micky: *grins* Either is fine.

*Lauren nods.*

Peter: (Wraps his arms around Micky and Lauren and gives them a big hug) You know, guys, Mike was right. Love really IS power.

Mike: (Puts his arms around Emma) And right now, I feel like I could move mountains. (They look into each other's eyes with a grin)

Valerie: I want to be a part of the team more, too. That's one of the reasons I'm moving here. (Shrugs) That and I like the area. It's nice and quiet here. (Softly) I don't like all the violence that's going on close to Beverly Hills. (Sighs) Wish I could get Chrissy away, too.

Peter: (Puts his hand on Valerie's shoulder) Someday, Val, the violence in LA will calm down. It can't last forever.

Valerie: I hope so. (Rests her head on Peter's shoulder)

Davy: Why don't we all go to Millie's and get somethin' for lunch? I'm sure Mick is stahved from our dip in the pool.

Micky: Naturally.

Lauren: He's ALWAYS starved.

Mike: And now you'll have a kitchen that can actually stock ALL the food he can eat.

Davy: At least for a day.

Micky: Ha ha ha. :P

(Everyone heads downstairs. Micky and Lauren stop in the foyer as the others walk out the door.)

Lauren: *shakes her head* Mick, I still can't get over that you did this for me.

Micky: I'd do anything for you, Lauren, you know that. We couldn't stay in that apartment forever, and I wanted us to have a place to call our own, where we wouldn't be crowded in with four other people. Not that I don't love the guys like brothers, but siblings can be a pain in the neck sometimes.

Lauren: I know, but this house is so amazing.

Micky: Do you remember Davy's grandfather's house in Manchester?

Lauren: *nods* Yeah.

Micky: Remember how impressed I was with that place?

Lauren: How could I forget?

Micky: I asked Grandfather Sebastian if he could send me the plans. I wanted to do a smaller version of it for us. I even left space in the yard for a very small rose garden.

Lauren: *smiles, even though she's tearing up* Thank you, Micky, this means so much. *hugs him & gives him a kiss*

Micky: You're welcome, babe. (Kisses her back) I wanted a home we could raise our children in, where we wouldn't be smooshed in with anyone else. A house that means something to BOTH of us. (Puts his arm around her) Now, let's go join the others, before they drive to Millie's without us. I'm so hungry, I could eat Peter's cream of root beer soup!

Lauren: *laughs* We don't want you doing THAT!

*With that, they head out, arms wrapped around each other, and join the others.*
