Everyone ready for some more swashbuckling?
Mike: My turn now. ;)
Peter: Let's go! :D
Micky: Ready to buckle some swash! :D ;)
Davy: Uh, yeah, wot 'e said. ;)
(We open in the prop room again. Mike rolls his eyes.)
Mike: Even in these round-robin things, all you guys can think of is partying!
Peter: That's not true! We saved the queen, didn't we?
Micky: Besides, partying has ALWAYS been around! :D
Mike: Yeah, but there's more to bein' a Musketeer than parties and Queen-savin'.
Katie: Tell us more, Papa! :)
Jordan: More! :)
Micky: *rolls his eyes* Everyone kick back. We're gonna be here for a while.
*Davy smirks.* ;)
Mike: Oh, come on. You got to do your two parts. Let me have my turn.
Katie: Wanna hear Papa!
Mike: (Nods and pulls a dark cloak from a rack over his head) Right. Mike saw the woman in the dark cloak wanderin' around in the hall. He thought she looked familiar, so he followed her...
(Fade out on the prop room; fade in on a dark room in the castle. It looks like a study or a library, as it's mostly books, papers, a huge desk, and a few chairs. The figure in the dark cloak goes through everything on the desk, then picks open the locks on the desk with her hairpin and goes through the items in the drawers. She finally pulls out a sheath of papers and is about to leave when another, somewhat larger, hand grabs hers.)
Mike: (The camera cuts to him holding her hand in dim light) I don't think those belong to you, young lady. Better put them back, before you get into...
Woman: Mike?
Mike: (His eyes widen in shock as the woman shakes the hood of her cloak off, revealing Emma) Em? But how...why...you're supposed to be dead!
Emma: Obviously, I'm not. Mike, let me go!
Mike: Em, what the HELL are you doing?
Emma: My job.
Mike: Which is?
Emma: Nothing you need to know about.
*A dark shadow sneaks quietly through the door, headed towards Mike.*
Mike: Em, I can't let you do this. I'm gonna have to turn you in. (Tries to tug her to her feet) Come on, darlin'. This is gonna hurt me worse than it does you. I...
*The shadow grabs a vase and slams it over Mike's head.*
Emma: (Screams as Mike collapses on the ground) MIKE!
Sheila: *steps out of the shadows* Bullseye.
Emma: You didn't have to hit him that hard, you know. You could have cracked his skull!
Sheila: *frowns* I'm not that lucky.
Emma: Your Majesty, I have what you want. (She hands Sheila the papers) These detail Belgravia's army procedures. They'll tell you the perfect place to invade them.
Sheila: Excellent, my dear.
(Emma goes to Mike's side as his eyes begin to flutter. She cradles him gently in his lap.)
Emma: Hush now, honey. I don't have time to explain.
Mike: (He's not really conscious yet) Em...darlin'...
Emma: (Takes his hand) I'm here.
Sheila: *goes to the door* Looks like we'll need some help to clean up in here. *lets her guards in. They grab Mike and Emma, dragging Emma from his side.*
Emma: Mike! (She tries to go to him, but they hold her tightly) Let me go! Sheila, what are you doing?
Sheila: *shrugs* You've done your job. Your worth to me is over. Now your worth to Alexander begins.
Emma: I'm not some toy for that madman! Please let me go to Mike!
Sheila: Guards, bind the Musketeer and leave him. The others will be kept busy looking for him.
(The guards obey their mistress. They tie the still-groggy Mike tightly to a chair, take his sword, hat, and wallet, and wind his handkerchief in his mouth.)
Emma: Oh, honey... (One of the guards gags her as well and drags her along behind Sheila into a secret passage behind one of the bookcases)
*We cut to another room. We hear a maniacal laugh, followed by a bit of giggling. The camera focuses on Alexander, scratching behind the ears of a bear cub. The cub giggles again.*
(Sheila flounces into the room, followed by a dishelved, weary Emma, still held by several guards. They throw her at Alex's feet. She gets to her knees, removes the gag, and glares at Sheila.)
Sheila: (Nods at Alex) I see you got out of jail all right.
Alexander: Was there any doubt?
Sheila: And you can thank the bail money I posted. I know you'd never get out on your own.
Emma: I'm not staying here, Sheila.
Sheila: That's what you think. (Nods at Emma) I have another one for you, Alexander.
Alexander: *ignores the pot-shot; grins at Emma* Excellent.
Sheila: (Nods at the bear) Are you starting a zoo, or is that one of yours?
(Emma's eyes widen.)
Alexander: *scratches the cub again* She's one of mine. Such a friendly little creature.
Sheila: (Pats Emma on the head) Have fun with her.
Emma: No... (but Sheila and the guards leave her. She stands and turns to Alexander) Is this the thanks I get? I go into your service, I steal and spy and bring the two of you everything you want, I let the husband I love think I’m dead, and you betray me?
Alexander: Have you ever heard of a villain letting their help go? Where have you been?
Emma: (As Alex puts the bear in a cage) Are you going to do that to me? And how did you do that, anyway? Was that really a woman?
Alexander: Maybe yes, maybe no. Now, how to amuse myself?
Emma: (Tries to pull back) Don't even try. If you do... (Puts up her fists) I DO know how to defend myself.
Alexander: Oh, please. I'm really scared. (Goes slowly to Emma) First of all, we need to make you comfortable. *pushes her on a couch; she suddenly can't move*
Emma: Wha...(tries to move)...what happened? (Eyes widen) Are you really...I've heard the rumors, but...you're really a warlock?
Alexander: *snaps his fingers; sarcastically* Darn, my secret is out!
Emma: I've always wondered how you were able to do some of the things you do, and why you're always puttering over that chemistry set. You need a wart on your nose, and green skin would be very cute with your eyes.
Alexander: *dull glare* Don't do that. Now... *sits next to her* must I remind you of your current situation? You're already unable to move. You were and still are thought of as dead by most people, and you may be heading in that direction if you don’t cooperate.
Emma: Mike knows I'm alive. He saw me. I doubt Sheila conked that entirely out of his head.
Alexander: Oh, but I think you'd be amazed at what Sheila can do. ;)
Emma: She couldn't kill him. Not without the other Musketeers finding out, not to mention the Queen and King.
Alexander: Not necessarily kill, but she does have a way with the mind.
Emma: Mike's not a fool. He'll go to the queen and king. (As Alex leans over her) Damn it, what are you doing?
Alexander: You talk too much. And you're darn cute.
Emma: You're a jerk. You're cute, too, but you're a jerk.
Alexander: But I'm cute! ;)
*Alexander runs his fingers along her face and neck.*
Emma: (Turns her head away from him) Get off me. Your hands are freezing.
Alexander: Most of the other girls LIKE that.
Emma: I have someone who will do that with me as soon as I can get back to him.
Alexander: How lovely. *brushes his fingers against her temples* Now, my dear, we get down to business. *begins to rub in small circles*
Emma: Alex, what are you...(her eyes glaze over as he rubs)...doing...(she finally closes her eyes, conscious but not quite clear-headed, panting slightly as her head falls against the pillow, the thick brown curls spilling across her shoulders. Alex moves to a table filled with strange objects alongside the bed and goes through them.)
Emma: Alex...my head...feel strange...
Alexander: You'll be feeling better very shortly, my dear.
Emma: Alex, don't... (Alex ignores her and picks up a beaker from his chemistry set) What's that?
Alexander: Just a little something to help you stay calm.
Emma: What?
(But Alex holds her nose and pours the liquid down her throat. She sputters and coughs for a few seconds, then giggles helplessly before finally settling down.)
Emma: I feel strange. It's like there's a lead weight in my head...
Alexander: That will pass soon, then you won't be feeling much of anything.
Emma: Really? (She giggles again before settling down with a sigh. Her eyes are glazed. She doesn't bat an eyelid.) It's odd. I was so scared. Now I don't remember why...something's strange...maybe...
Alexander: Don't you feel better?
Emma: Yes. I feel wonderful.
(Alexander strokes her hair, reaching for a pair of scissors.)
*Alexander brings the scissors to Emma's hair and snips off a large chunk as she giggles. When he's done, she hardly has any hair left.*
Alexander: Not bad.
Emma: Not bad. (Giggles again)
(Alex runs his fingers along her ample bosom as he smirks. She giggles again.)
Alexander: What's say we really have some fun, hm?
Emma: (Sighs; small murmur, but enough for Alex to hear) Mike...ooh, Mike...
Alexander: (Low and angry) I'm going to make you forget about Mike!
Emma: Love...Mike...
*Alexander growls, then kisses her a bit roughly.*
(Emma's eyes widen, but all she does is sighs.)
Emma: (small) ...honey....
Alexander: That's it. Now, you're REALLY going to forget him! (He takes her into his arms more roughly and starts to undo the front of her red gown as we cut back to the prop room)
