Everyone ready to move on?

Mike: Darlin'....can't think...too much... (He howls)

Peter: Why do the plains have to be so DRY?

Micky: This is so weird.

Davy: Ready.

(We open where we left off - in Africa. Daphne groans.)

Daphne: I'm hungry. We have to find SOMETHING to eat!

Davy: Definitely.

*Micky's stomach growls loudly. He makes a face.*

Micky: Sorry.

Daphne: (Sighs) I don't think we're going to be able to catch our breakfast. It might even be illegal here.

Micky: Maybe we can find someone or something to ask.

Daphne: How? We're in the middle of... (suddenly sees another puff of dust blowing along the savannah) Africa. (She grabs the guys) Here comes another stampede!

Davy: Run!

(The trio ducks behind a clump of tall grass. However, when the dust settles, it turns out the "stampede" is nothing of the kind. It's a large, open vehicle that's spewing dust behind it. People carrying cameras and binoculars and wearing normal clothes watch for animals and chat amongst themselves.)

Daphne: (Rolls her eyes) False alarm. It's just a bunch of sight-seekers looking for wild animals.

Tour Guide: (Leans out of his car as the three come up to him) I say, old chaps, you do look a bit of a fright. Are you in some trouble?

Micky: You could say that.

Daphne: Do you know the location of the nearest resteraunt? We got separated from our group, and we're desperately famished.

Tour Guide: (Points behind him) I think we have some room in the back. Why don't you join us? We'll see about gettin' you some food and findin' your group.

Daphne: Thank you! (She and the guys climb wearily into the car and take a long seat in the very back of the vehicle) That was easy. (Grins) And the story about being separated from our group wasn't entirely a lie. I just didn't say where the rest of our group WAS.

Davy: You sure have a way with words, luv.

Daphne: Thank you, dear. At this point, I just want breakfast and to find the others. (Sighs) I wish we had some clue of where they might be!

Davy: Good question.

Daphne: (Thinks) Davy, you were in a volcano, right? And Micky, they sent you somewhere cold?

Micky: Yeah.

Daphne: Where would they send Mike or Peter, or Em and Val or Lauren? Where would their powers do the least harm? It has to be the devils doing this. I don't know how they got to Al, but they must have done something to him, some kind of hypnosis.

Micky: *Shrugs* Not a clue. And actually, Lauren helped rescue me with Urse. We don't have to look for her.

Daphne: (Sighs) That's right. I don't know what's wrong with my brain. It's like there's pieces missing.

Davy: None of us are really all there either, luv.

Daphne: (Sees the car stop in front of a small building) Looks like we've arrived, guys.

(The group climbs out of the vehicle with the rest of the tourists. Cut to inside. It's pretty basic, with four walls, wood chairs, and a counter with various food. Daphne and the boys down sandwiches and sodas.)

Daphne: I don't know what's in this sandwich, and I don't want to know, but it's pretty good.

Davy: Agreed, although I could've eaten just about anything.

Daphne: And Micky WILL eat just about anything. How many sandwiches have you had now, Mick?

Micky: I lost count.

Daphne: We're lucky the tour group is footing the bill. (Sighs) And as much as I hate to abandon these nice people who helped us out, we'd better see if we can leave. We don't need anyone asking more specific questions.

Davy: Right. We need to try to find the others.

Tour Guide: (He walks up to them) Hullo, mates. Enjoyed your lunch? (Nods at Micky) That fellow must have. He's been giving the elephants a run for their peanuts.

Micky: Aww...

Daphne: We thank you for the lunch, but we really must be looking for our group now. (Puts on her most charming smile)

Tour Guide: (Bows) Anytime, my dear lady. (He walks off to talk to another table)

Daphne: (Turns to the other two) That got us off the hook. Are you ready to go?

Davy: I'm ready. You ready, Mick, or is that a silly question?

Micky: *Stuffs the last of his current sandwich in his mouth* 'ea'y!

Daphne: (Looks around) We'd better find a quiet place to use the Powers. I imagine under a tree outside would be fine.

Davy: Let’s try it, luv.

(Daphne looks left and right, and, seeing no one but animals, the trio hurry out to the shade of a large, sprawling tree that's far enough from the resteraunt to not be seen.)

Daphne: Ok. How did you guys get here?

Davy: *Shrugs* Pretty much just thought about the opposite of your powers.

Daphne: Then let's think about the opposite of someone else's. Where would Valerie land? Or Mike? Or Em?

Micky: Maybe Em...

Daphne: (Nods) How about Em? She might be able to lead us to Mike.

Davy: Whom otherwise might be tough to find.

Daphne: (Nods) If the devils were involved with this, they'll especially want to keep us away from Mike. You know how Sheila feels about him...not to mention Alex.

Daphne: Ok...how did you get here before? Just concentrate on Em?

Micky: That should work.

Daphne: Ok, then. Everyone concentrate and think "take us to Em."

(There's a series of blue lights, and we fade out on the group as Africa disappears in a burst of blue light. Fade in on a typical lush jungle. It looks like the jungle set from "Castaways" and "Monkees Marooned." Emma leans against a tree, holding a large knife and looking exhausted.)

Emma: Boy, am I pooped. I wish I had a chainsaw or something to get me through this darn jungle!

(There's a blue light right next to the tree Emma leans against. When it subsides, Daphne, Davy, and Micky appear.)

Micky: Nice jungle. Looks vaguely familiar.

Davy: Only to you, mate.

Emma: (Grins) Guys! I am so glad to see you!

Daphne: We're glad to see you, too. Is anyone else here with you?

Emma: (Shakes her head) I haven't seen anyone else besides me, monkeys, and bananas. (She takes a banana out of a bag on her hip) Have a banana? They're very fresh.

Micky: *Accepts the banana* Thanks, Em!

Daphne: (Shakes her head) Actually, we just ate, In Africa.

Emma: What?! Did you eat an elephant or something?

Daphne: I didn't. At least, I don't think I did. Now, Micky, on the other hand...

Micky: I wouldn't do that! I had an elephant for a best friend when I was younger!

Daphne: No wonder the elephants seemed to like you.

Emma: You guys were really in Africa?

Davy: Certainly looked like it.

Emma: (Sags against the tree) I don't believe this. I just don't believe it. (Puts her hand on her heart) Mike is hurting. He's confused, he's scared he... (frowns) lacks air?

Daphne: Lacks air? (Turns to the other two) That's his powers, isn't it?

Micky: *nods* Yeah. Where could he be that would lack air?

Emma: Probably underground somewhere.

Daphne: (Looks around the jungle) Maybe we'd better get going. This place is spooky, and I seem to remember what happened the last time we got stuck in a random jungle.

Emma: Ok. Just...let me catch my breath...

Davy: Nothing good came of that visit.

Daphne: (Grins at Micky) Well, maybe one thing did...

Micky: *grins* Yeah, ONE thing did.

Davy: My mistake.

Emma: (She leans against Micky) I'm so tired. I feel like I've been hacking through that mess for hours...

Daphne: (Sighs) Maybe we ought to rest here until Em's up to traveling...

Micky: Good idea.

("99 Pounds" begins as the group settles down next to Emma, taking a rest themselves. At first, all we see is a jungle...until a long, fuzzy, brown leg taps Davy's shoulder.)

*Davy slowly turns...then screams, seeing a huge spider.*

(Everyone jumps away at once, Emma scrambling away as best she can. Daphne tries to hack off a leg with her spear, but it wraps her hand with spider webbing.)

*Davy jabs at the spider with his spear.*

(Emma ducks away. She tries to hack at the spider with the machete she was using earlier, but she's too tired to be of much help.)

(The spider shoots webbing at Micky!)

*Micky yelps, then brings out his dagger and starts hacking at the webbing.*

(Daphne looks at Davy, whispers something in his ear, and grins. Just as the spider raises its rear to shoot more webbing, Daphne runs in one direction around the spider, and Davy goes in the other. The spider is so confused, it doesn't know what way is up! Daphne and Davy finally grab the webbing shooting in all directions and run around the spider until it's tangled in its own webbing. Daphne rubs her hands to get rid of the sticky stuff.)

Micky: *Grins* Nice job, you two.

Daphne: (As the music ends) Thanks.

Emma: Maybe...we'd better try resting somewhere else.

Daphne: (Looks up) Anyone want to go swinging?

Davy: Would love to!

Emma: I don't know if that's a good idea...

Daphne: Come on, Em! It'll be good exercise! (She starts to climb a tree)

Emma: (Blushes) I, um, can't climb trees.

*Davy follows Daphne.*

Daphne: Watch how far I can go! Zoinks, and away! (Grabs a vine and swings to a tree about two yards away!)

Davy: Wait up, Daph!

Daphne: Catch me if you can, lover boy!

Davy: I'm trying to, luv!

Emma: (Frowns) Micky, are you ok? You don't look so good.

*Micky plops down on the ground. He sits Indian-stye and watches the other two.*

Micky: *Shakes his head and sighs wearily* No, I'm not. The devils must have Lauren. They're doing something to her. I can feel it.

Micky: *Holds his head; groans* Feel...confused...

Emma: (Nods) I know how you feel. Mike is, too. He's hurting, wherever he is.

Micky: *Groans again* Head feels like mush.

Daphne: Bet you can't do this! (She swings over to another tree...then pushes off it and drops to a bed of soft moss)

Davy: Oh, yeah? *copies her easily*

Emma: Guys, as amusing as this all is, maybe we'd better get going now.

Daphne: (She drops easily to the ground) You're right. We need to find the others...and fast.

Emma: (Rubs her head) I think you and Davy are going to have to do the traveling. My head isn't up to it, and it sounds like Mick's isn't, either.

Davy: *Drops down and frowns at Micky* I can tell. Mick looks horrible.

Micky: Thanks.

Daphne: All right, then. (Turns to Davy) You ready to go?

Davy: I am, luv.

Daphne: Ok, then. Concentrate on one of the members of our group. Maybe we should find Val next. She does have an infant who needs her care.

Davy: Val it is.

(Daphne and Davy concentrate. There's a blue light around the four, and the vanish as we fade out on the familiar jungle scene.)
