Everyone ready to catch that crazy coyote?

Mike: Even if I have to use laser eye vision!

Davy: Ready!

Micky: Sure.

Peter: Um, does Mickey Mouse know how to use a crossbow?

Daphne: Who cares?

(We open just outside of the Arizona Ghost Town Complex. Sheila drives Alex's black Mustang, which kicks up a cloud of dirt as she maneuvers around the desert.)

Sheila: Alex! Alex, where the bloody hell are you? (Growls) Damn it, this is a damn bad time for him to pull a disappearing act!

*We suddenly hear a yell reminiscent of a particular Disney character. There's a thud on the roof of the Mustang. The camera moves outside and reveals Alex laying on the roof.*

Sheila: What in the HELL was that?

Sheila: What's on your roof?

Mustang: We seem to have picked up a hitchhiker.

Sheila: Well, get him off!

Mustang: I think it's Alex, Milady.

Sheila: Then get him IN!

*The Mustang's rear window opens and sucks Alex into the back seat.*

Alex: Thanks, I think.

Sheila: (Raises an eyebrow) So you're turning into a wolf now, too?

Alex: The Guardians did this to me!

Sheila: (Narrows her eyes) They escaped?

Alex: Yes.

Sheila: Blast it! Where was the last place you saw them?

Alex: Out here, where else?

Sheila: Where out here? This is a big desert!

Alex: How the hell should I know!?

Sheila: Oooh! This is crazy! If only we could bloody get rid of them for good...or at least get rid of the ones we don't want and weaken the ones we do.

Alex: That would be nice.

Sheila: There has to be a place we can send them that they can't come back from!

Alex: We can't even send them to Hell and expect them to stay there!

Sheila: (Thinks) Maybe not Hell. Maybe we could send them...no place.

Alex: Say what?

Sheila: Do you remember that old cartoon about the duck who kept being redrawn by what seemed like a random animator?

Alex: Oh yeah. What about it?

Sheila: What if we did that? Sent them to nothing?

Alex: Well, it's worth a try.

Sheila: First of all, however, you can't do it like that. (She concentrates. There's a black light around Alex. When it subsides, he's himself again)

Alex: Thank you.

Sheila: You're welcome. We can't have you staying fuzzier than usual. You might shed on the carpets in the Ghost Town.

Alex: How kind.

Sheila: (She stops the car as they enter the ghost town) Now, shall we concentrate and send them to a place where they really can't do any harm?

(Sheila and Alex both concentrate. There's a flash of black light just beyond the Ghost Town.)

Sheila: Looks like we may have been successful.

Alex: I hope so.

(Fade out on them laughing evilly as the camera moves up to the bright Arizona sun. Fade in on...nothing. We see absolutely nothing before the camera. It's all a white void. There's a black light, and seven familiar figures land on...well, whiteness.)

Mike: (Looks up; he's still in his Superman costume) What in the HELL was that?

Peter: (He's still dressed as the black-and-white Mickey Mouse) Where ARE we?

Davy: That's a bloody good question.

Valerie: What's going on? Where is this? What is this?

Daphne: Why is it so...white?

Emma: I don't know. There's...nothing. No trees, no desert, no anything.

*Micky stares off to one side, looking up slightly.*

Mike: You see anythin', Mick?

Micky: *Still staring; quietly* Not yet.

Peter: (He goes over to Micky) What is it, Mick?

Mike: He's obviously gettin' somethin' outta that whiteness that we ain't.

Davy: He looks like he's seen a bloody ghost.

Daphne: Not a ghost. Something else... Lauren's mentioned that look on his face...

(Suddenly, a giant animated No.2 pencil appears out of nowhere! It starts "drawing" on Micky.)

Mike: Shit. I thought this seemed familiar.

Peter: We're not going to have to start hammering missiles, are we?

Mike: Ok, where’s Bugs Bunny?

Micky: That tickles!

(When the pencil moves, Micky now wears a pink tutu, tiara, and ballet slippers.)

Mike: Cute, Mick. Pink's really your color.

(The girls burst into giggles.)

*Micky's eyebrows raise as he looks himself over. His face turns red as he frowns.*

(The pencil draws on Davy next. When it moves, it reveals that it drew a bikini on him and a pair of sunglasses.)

Davy: Thanks, mate!

(The pencil draws on Daphne next. She now wears what appears to be a frilly can-can dress and feathers in her hair.)

Emma: Very nice, Daph.

Daphne: I like this!

Mike: I ain't so sure...hey! (The pencil moves to him next. When it finishes, he wears a huge white 50s style prom gown and has a white rose in his hair.)

Emma: (Nearly falls over laughing) That's so you, dear. You look lovely... (But the pencil moves over to her...and draws a suit and a mustache on her) Oooh....

Mike: You're real interestin' with facial hair, darlin'.

Emma: (Is able to wipe the pencil mustache off) Thank you.

Valerie: (Laughs) You two look so...yikes! (The pencil moves to her next. It draws a matching Minnie Mouse outfit to go with Peter's Mickey.)

Peter: Hey Val, that's a nice look for you. Want a piece of my cheese?

Valerie: (Makes a face) No thank you.

Peter: What about me? (The pencil "erases" Peter...and redraws him as Mickey Mouse again, this time in color and in his wizard's costume from "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment of "Fantasia.") Hey, I always liked the part with Mickey and the brooms.

(The pencil draws what looks like a rather child-like city scene behind them.)

Mike: Oh, that's just dandy. Looks like the kids drew it.

(The pencil erases Mike and redraws him in what appears to be Davy's Victorian child's costume from "Nightmare Revolutions"...only the short pants are REALLY short on him.)

Emma: You do have a lot of leg, don't you, dear?

Mike: Man, now I'm cold! (He tries to cover his skinny legs)

Peter: Mick, watch out! The pencil's coming for you again!

Micky: *Watches it come after him* Leave me alone, pencil!

(We see the pencil chase Micky up and down the town drawing. Micky actually appears to run around the seemingly flat streets of the background!)

Mike: How DOES he do that?

(The pencil draws an open manhole right in front of Micky.)

*Micky drops in and we hear a VERY unhappy groan.*

(The pencil draws a fishing rod as the others hurry over to the "city.")

Mike: (Takes the sketchy fishing rod) Guess this is how we're supposed to get him outta here. (He throws the line into the manhole)

*Mike pulls on the rod, pulling Micky out. Micky, however, is NOT amused.*

Mike: (He's amused, though) Look what I caught! Should I throw it back?

Peter: Michael, that's not funny. Are you ok, Mick?

Micky: Fine.

Peter: Maybe we'd better...hey! (The pencil erases all of them. Cut to another blank white area. It redraws the area as a sailing ship, then draws everyone on the deck of Naval ship. The men wear sailor's uniforms. The women wear Sailor dresses and caps.)

Mike: (Looks at himself and makes a face) Man, bad enough I was already in the Army.

Peter: Maybe you won't overturn the Admiral's boat this time.

Valerie: Oh, I remember having a dress like this when I was little, but mine was red and blue.

Emma: Gee, I feel like a real sailor! Beats the huge jumpsuits my stepfather wears for commercial fishing!

Mike: Well men, batten the hatches! Shiver me timbers, an' all that nautical stuff. (He's about to say more when the pencil draws some waves in the water. The seas toss the boat around a bit. Mike turns a decided shade of pea-green that's evident on his face) Um, yeah. Shiver my timbers...uh, yeah...

Emma: Baby, you don't look so good.

Mike: Don't feel...so good... (He runs around to the other side of the ship, behind the lifeboats, and makes noises to the point that he's losing his lunch.)

Peter: (Yells up to the pencil) We get your point - Michael shouldn't have been mean to Micky. Could you turn off the storm now?

(The pencil erases the waves and draws a smiling sun instead.)

Peter: (Yells up again) Thank you! (Turns to the others with a grin) You have to know how to talk to them.

Micky: Great. *plops down on the floor of the deck and props his chin in his hand, elbows resting on his knees*

Peter: (Gets next to Micky) Are you ok? Did the waves get to you, too?

Micky: No, I'm fine.

Davy: I think we're losing him again.

Peter: Micky, you look like you're ready to join Michael. That's NOT fine.

Valerie: Is there anything we can do?

Micky: *Shakes his head* I need Lauren.

Peter: You still can't feel her?

*Micky just shakes his head.*

(The pencil draws Micky a handkerchief.)

Peter: (Rubs Micky's back) She'll be ok. She's with the kids.

Valerie: Can you feel the twins and Leah?

Micky: *Nods* And they're really worried about Mommy. *nods at the pencil* Thank you. *blows his nose*

(The pencil draws a sign that says "you're welcome" next to Micky.)

*Micky gives it a sad smile.*

Mike: (As he stumbles back around to them) Land ho! I saw somethin' green comin' up ahead of us. That's either land or the Lochness Monster.

(Indeed, we cut to what looks like a cartoon backdrop of green ground and a tan gravel path. The ship stops next to a brown dock as everyone disembarks.)

Mike: Ok, everyone off!

Peter: Where are we going now?

Mike: Who knows? Let's just keep followin' this crazy pencil and hope that he doesn't decide to erase us permanently.

Valerie: I agree. (Points ahead on the path) Shall we go on?

("I'm a Believer" begins as the group walks along the path. They walk right into what appears to be a forest scene. Mike walks out, dressed as a hunter. Davy runs over to him, wearing a black sweater, black slacks, a yellow beak, and carrying a sign that says "Rabbit Season.")

(Peter appears behind them, wearing a gray sweater, white jeans with a cotton tail, his brown fringed boots, and bunny ears, carrying a sign that says "Duck Season." They shove both in Mike's face. He's so confused, he finally just shoots at both of them.)

*Micky sits under a tree with a sign close to him that says "Beware of Micky" on it.*

(Peter manages to duck next to Micky. When the smoke clears, we reveal that, yes, Davy's beak has been blown off. His human mouth is intact under it...and he's not thrilled. Mike and Peter snicker.)

(Emma, her hair pulled into a high, curly ponytail, rides over them on a while horse with a rainbow-colored mane. She throws multi-colored sprinkles onto Micky to try to cheer him up. She wears a sparkly blue and white mini-dress with huge, sci-fi-like sleeves and puffy trim and a red belt with a rainbow on it.)

(Peter, Davy, and Mike gather around a junker car. Davy wears his sailor outfit and duck bill. Mike wears his jumpsuit from "Monkees Race Again" and a little green porkpie hat. Peter has his Mickey Mouse costume, only this time, he wears a jumpsuit instead of the famous red shorts. Mike tries to check the engine, but it just blows gray smoke in his face.)

(Peter hammers away at the bent grill, but it just gets tangled around him.)

(Mike tries to hammer at the engine, but the hammers in it just end up smacking Davy in the rear.)

(Peter lifts the bent grill...and smacks Davy in the face. He doesn't even realize he did it.)

*Davy kicks up a cloud of dust, having an angry fit!*

(That's when the girls come in. Valerie still wears her Minnie costume. Daphne wears a lavender blouse, white pants, yellow shoes, and a purple ribbon in her hair. She, too, has a beak. Emma wears a yellow blouse and yellow culottes. She has two prominent buck teeth and floppy ears. The boys indicate the car, but when the girls step in, the car just...falls apart. The girls chase them into the next scene.)

(When the pencil moves, it reveals Daphne in a lavender gown and cone princess hat with a long lavender train. She stands on a balcony, watching Mike and Davy, wearing their Musketeer costumes from "The Three Monkee-teers," duel. She sighs when Davy disarms Mike.)

*Davy climbs up the ladder that the pencil draws for him. He gently kisses Daphne, but Daphne dips him.*

(The pencil draws a quick blank over Davy and Daphne. When it erases it, there's lipstick on Davy's cheek...and stars in BOTH their eyes.)

(The pencil erases the duo. When he redraws, we now have a pleasant little scene. Peter, dressed in tan slacks, a red sweater, and bear's ears, tries to reach for a honey pot. Valerie, wearing a yellow shirt and blue shorts, offers him advice. Mike, dressed all in yellow with rabbit ears, grumbles that it's not being done by the book. Daphne, dressed in pink and magenta with pig's ears, watches shyly behind a tree. Emma, wearing orange and black, with a long springy tail and cat's ears, jumps happily around him. Mike finally grabs her tail to get her to stop.)

(Davy, wearing a gray sweater and a coal miner's hat with a light, pops out from under the ground to offer to blast the honey off the tree.)

*Micky leans against a trees, arms folded. He wears a blue turtleneck sweater and blue jeans and has a short gray tail with a pink ribbon tied to the top attached to his rear.)

(Peter finally "floats" up to the honey pot with a balloon...though we can vaguely see the wire work that's really how he gets up there as he does.)

(The pencil erases the scene again. When the pencil reappears, it draws what looks like a woods scene, with a little cottage in the distance. Daphne, dressed in the Disney Snow White gown and a red ribbon, dances with the others, all dressed as dwarves, and various animated woodland creatures.)

(Peter gets to be Dopey who asks for a second kiss...and Micky is Grumpy who doesn't want one at all.)

(Prince Davy finally arrives on horseback to almost literally sweep Daphne off her feet.)

(The pencil erases "Snow White," and replaces it with much brighter, less fluid animation. The ground appears to be nothing but clouds, and there's a castle made of clouds in the distance. A giant heart with hands like a clock stands next to it. Emma skips out first. She wears a pink sweater with a rainbow in the center, pink slacks, pink ballet flats, and a pink ribbon in her curly brown ponytail. She goes over to the nearest cloud and waters it. A heart-shaped plant pops out!)

(Peter and Valerie come out next, holding hands. Peter wears all tan, with a big red heart on his sweater. Valerie wears a purple sweater with a mutli-colored flower on it and a yellow headband trimmed with a flower to match the one on her sweater. They dance a bit to the song together.)

(Emma has to drag Mike out next. He's wearing his all yellow outfit from the Pooh sequence, but the bunny ears have been replaced by a big, smiling sun and a blue baseball cap. His face is as stormy as the sun's is cheerful.)

*Micky still wears the blue turtleneck sweater, but it now has a white patch with a storm cloud on the front of it. He’s once again sitting by himself and generally doesn't want to be involved with the others.*

*Davy and Daphne appear next. Davy has a gold sweater with a trophy on the front. Daphne’s lavender sweater depicts an ice cream soda with two straws.*

(Emma points to the heart clock thing. Oh no, the hands are going down! Someone on Earth must need our help! Mike rolls his eyes, but Emma grabs his hands as they all run for little cars that seem to be made of clouds. Everyone climbs into the cars and speeds off for the area below the clouds.)

(The pencil erases this scene. When he redraws the scene, we're now on a sketchy, limited-animation stage. Mike holds a clipboard and wears a yellow shirt with a black zig-zag and black slacks. He's trying to get the others to listen to him, but they just pass right by him. Emma, now wearing a purple dress and brown Mary Janes, fluffs her brown curls and admires herself in the reflection on the polished stage. Davy, dressed in black and white, watches them from one side.)

(Peter, wearing a purple t-shirt with black stripes and black slacks, plays what looks like a small toy piano...but sounds like a baby grand. Valerie, dressed in blue with white sneakers, leans against it, trying to look seductive. Peter just ignores her and continues with his music.)

*Micky shuffles in, dragging a blanket with him.*

(Val frowns and tries to tug the blanket away. You look silly carrying that thing, Mick!)

*Micky tugs it back. It's Lauren's favorite blanket!*

(Valerie shakes a fist to try to get Micky to let it go, but Mike breaks character and grabs her fist. Let the poor guy go. It's all he has right now.)

(Valerie returns to Peter, who still ignores her.)

*Davy hops onto the piano and starts dancing.*

(Valerie and Peter finally glares him off. He goes over to Daphne, who wears a green dress and has her hair in a bun, to see if he can beg treats off her instead.)

*Micky moves beside the piano and plops down there.*

(The others settle down around the piano as the pencil erases them again.)

(This time, we turn up in a limited-animation cityscape, a few notches above the one the pencil drew earlier. Mike, back in his Superman outfit, flies Emma, wearing a suit and carrying a note pad and a tape recorder, to safety in a park. The two look up to see a huge robot attacking the city...or at least, punching holes in the background. Emma gasps.)

(Mike flies over to the robot. He tries to punch him, but he just ends up grabbing his hand in pain. He kicks at him and doesn't make a dent.)

(Emma sighs and finally hands Mike a stick of dynamite. He grins and throws the lighted stick off-camera. There's a huge "KABOOM!" - we see the words in an animated speech bubble and everything. Melted metal parts come flying off camera. Mike grins and flexes his arm, proud of the job he did. Emma just shakes her head.)

(The pencil erases them and draws Micky again. This time, he's wearing brown and tan, with mouse's ears, a long black tail, and a little red bow-tie. He seemingly doesn't notice Mike, dressed in blue and gray, with blue cat's ears on his head, trying to sneak up on him.)

*Micky gives Mike a small shove. I'm not in the mood for cat and mouse antics!*

(Mike makes a face and snaps his fingers. Darn, there goes dinner.)

(Cut to the girls, who all ride bright-colored horses over the rainbow. Emma wears a turquoise ruffled romper over a white blouse. Daphne wears a t-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. Valerie, her hair in pigtails, wears a similar outfit to Emma, but in pink.)

(As the music finally ends, the pencil draws a western town that looks a lot like the one from "Wild West Monkees." Everyone walks into the center square, wearing cowboy costumes.)

Mike: Boy, was that a wild ride.

Peter: (Nods) I'll say.

Valerie: This is great and everything, but...how are we going to get OUT of here?

Emma: (Turns to Micky) Micky, your imagination is stronger than ours, right?

Micky: So?

Emma: Could you...handle...the pencil somehow? Maybe get around it?

Micky: *Slightly sarcastic* And do what with it? Draw an exit door?

Mike: Actually...that might work!

Peter: Works in cartoons.

Emma: (Nods) Get it to draw an exit of some kind that leads back to our world!

Micky: It listened to you earlier, Peter!

Valerie: (Leans against Micky and flutters her eyelashes) For little old me, sugah?

Micky: *Dull glare* I want Lauren!

Mike: For Lauren, then.

Micky: How do we know we can retrieve her soul, huh? If we can't get it back, I might as well just stay here!

Davy: I think we may have left him alone with his thoughts for too long.

Peter: We'll get it back, Micky! We rescued Em's soul before! (He hugs him)

Emma: (Nods) That's right.

Mike: You can do it, Mick. We all have confidence in ya.

Micky: I don't.

Emma: What about your children? Not to mention ours?

Mike: That's right. They need you right now. :)

Micky: I can't do it! *puts his hands on his head* I can't...think! I keep...getting NOTHING from Lauren!
