IMPRESSIVE IMPROV

Debut: Drew Carey hosts an American version of the British improvisational-comedy series.

Each week four players will participate in a variety of amusing unrehearsed "games" before a studio audience. Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie, both of whom appeared on the original series, are regular contestants, and in the opener, they're joined by Wayne Brady and Greg Proops, another alum of the British show.

Sketches: Proops tries to guess the quirks of his party guests; Brady samples songs from the album "Songs of Accounting"; Carey leaves the host's chair to join in the improv.
