Ok, I've got my pizza. Everyone ready to finish our story? ;)

Mike: I sure am. :p

Micky: You bet!

Peter: Me too!

Davy: I'm ready.

(We begin in Micky and Lauren's kitchen. Everyone sits around the room, eating pizza and salads for the vegetarians.)

Bert: Celebrating, gang? ;)

Mike: (Between bites of pepperoni) Yeah. We're celebratin' us gettin' off the hook and gettin' Alex IN jail.

Peter: How long do you think he'll stay there?

Micky: I'd like to say as long as possible.

Mike: Nielson said they were thinkin' of dumpin' him in some maximum security prison on the Mexico/Arizona border, or somethin' like that.

Valerie: THEY ought to be able to keep an eye on him, at least until Sheila can regroup. ;) :p

Bob: Hey, guys, how does it feel to be heroes? ;)

Mike: Aw, we didn't do nuthin'.

Peter: Davy was the one who got the cops, and Micky filmed Sheila and Alex and came up with the idea to switch the film! :D

Micky: I should be a director. ;)

Mike: Not unless you want the audience puking their guts out in the aisles. :p

Micky: Hey, I'm still getting used to the new camera, okay? :P

Mike: Please. You just love showin' off. :p

Micky: Well, yes, but that has nothing to do with it.

Bob: What happened to the Wesley Collings Quartet and Eva Beryl?

Valerie: The Wesley Collings Quartet are scared and shaken up but fine. They're going on a short tour of the western US after they recover from today. (Sighs) Eva Beryl is also recovering, and intends to take time off before her next album to do what she says will be some "serious soul-searching." (Shrugs) We probably could have taken her to court for accessory to kidnapping, but I figured we'd just let her off the hook. Sheila and Alex got to her. :p

Bert: And Sheila...

Mike: Is gone again. The cops couldn't find her in the caves, and the only person who remembered the way into the subterranean complex weren't thinkin' too well at that point.

Emma: Mike, what did you do to him that got him to go with Nielson?

Mike: Just put a confusion spell on him. Nuthin' big. Worked well, though. He won't be thinkin' straight for weeks. ;)

Bert: There was a lot of car chases and train chases in this story. How did it feel to do those complicated romps? ;)

Mike: Loved it. Love cars. Love car chases. ;) :D

Micky: Ditto that! :D

Peter: Doing all that stuff with the Monkeemobile was a LOT of fun! So was the chase in the movie studio! It was great to run through all those movie sets, even if Alex DID try to scare me. :)

Bob: Which brings us to our next question. What was your favorite part of this story? ;)

Emma: Swinging across Eva Beryl's house on the chandelier, even if I don't remember much afterwards.

Valerie: Running around Eva Beryl's was fun before we got caught.

Micky: The mine cart ride. ;)

Davy: Bringing the cops in for the save at the end. ;)

Peter: Running around the studios! :D

Mike: That first car chase. ;)

Katie: Plane! Plane! :D

Emma: (Wipes the pizza sauce off of Katie) You had a great time with the twins in the cockpit, didn't you, sweetie? :)

Katie: Fun! Vroom vroom! :D

Shelly: Loved the plane!

Mick: Me wanna fly again! :D

Mike: (He's looking at the kids a tad suspiciously) You know, you kids were awfully quiet in the cockpit. TOO quiet. Just what were you doin' in there?

Peter: Oh, Michael, they were just listening to the pilots! Right, kids?

*The twins nod.* :)

Katie: Yeah! ;) :)

Mike: Still... (He stares at the three children a few more minutes before shrugging and reaching for another slice of pizza.)

Bert: So, how long has this story been cookin'?

Emma: (Sighs) We only came up with this idea last month, and I'm afraid it looks it. This is one of the most hastily constructed stories we EVER did, and that includes the first one. We're lucky it came out as well as it did! :p

Mike: (Between mouthfuls of cheese and pepperoni) Yeah, there's plot holes big enough to drive the MonkeeMobile through. :p

Micky: Picky, picky, picky... :P

Emma: We promise we'll do more work on next month's stories. My hours suddenly went up in real life and have stayed up, plus I just got through three birthdays (including my own) and a major holiday and a minor one within the past month. We'll have far more time to brainstorm later this month and in June. In fact, it should be far easier to do the summer stories now, since I no longer have some of the, ahem, real-life distractions that I did.

Bob: Speaking of, what's coming our way in this arc?

Emma: Next month, we're exploring the final frontier.

Mike: (Almost chokes on his pizza; Peter thumps him on the back) SPACE? US? What would aliens want with us?

Peter: Pizza! ;)

Micky: Oh, man, I can't WAIT! :D

Mike: I'm not so sure we should be lettin' this crowd off the planet. Who knows what they'll do up there?

Peter: Michael, I don't think it'll be that bad! Maybe the aliens will be friendly! :)

Mike: Or maybe they'll try to kill us with ray guns or somethin'.

Micky: Or maybe they'll give us special suits with alien powers! :D ;)

Lauren: *groans* Mick... :P ;)

Mike: Wrong show, boy. ;)

Lauren: Technically, it doesn't even exist yet. ;)

Micky: Damn. :P

Peter: Besides, we already HAVE suits with powers! :D

Mike: (Mutters) Don't bring that up around Mick. He'll wanna use them. :p

Micky: Yes, I do wanna use them! Maybe the aliens could help out with the suits!

Davy: Great. :P

Mike: No, Mick.

Micky: Well, why not?

Peter: I've always wondered what life is like on other planets. I just hope the aliens are nicer than the ones from the planet Zlotnick! (Shudders) We almost lost Micky because they wanted to clone him! :p :o

Mike: God, I wish I wasn't sick for that. :p

Lauren: True, but Emilio did end up helping us.

Micky: Maybe we'll run into him again!

Peter: Or the Frodis plant! He was nice, too! :)

Mike: I'd love to know exactly what that stuff was that got rid of Glick and his buddies. ;)

Davy: Yeah, I would, too. ;)

Emma: Hey, kids, how'd you like to go into space? ;)

Katie: Huh? (She returns to her pizza.)

Mick: Space? :D

Peter: Yeah, Little Mick. (Points out the window) Up there, where the stars and the moon are. :)

Mike: Or beyond them.

Mick: Cool! :D

Katie: (Looks out the window) Stars n' moon?

Peter: Maybe we'll see the stars and moon, Katie...or more stars and more moons! :)

(Mike just grunts.)

Katie: Ooohh! :)

Peter: I wonder what IS out there, other than stars and moons and things?

Lauren: Could be anything out there.

Mike: As long as it don't eat us and don't jump on us, I don't care what's out there. :p

Peter: We're gonna find out soon enough, I suppose. :)

Mike: Yeah. (He turns his eyes to look out the window at the shining stars and big, mostly full moon over the backyard and beach.) Soon enough.

(Fade out on Mike watching the stars and in on "No Time" and the credits in front of stills from both productions. The final shot remains of the entire group from "Kids and Devils" under the words "A Raybert Production.")
