So, everyone ready to begin?
Peter: Not unless we can get out of these crazy dimensions! :p
(Mike shakes his head. :p)
Micky: We don't have any choice, do we?
Davy: Uhhhh...
(We open amid the swirling dark mists of the dimension where Mike is being kept. There are several more demons surrounding Mike now...or what we can see of him. Most of his arms and the lower part of his legs have almost seemingly dissolved into the wall of mist that holds him. The demons pull hard at Mike's nose and ears, run their tongues over him, and poke the bottoms of his feet, and yank his hair.)
*There's a black light. When it clears, we see Alex and Davy. Alex has a particularly evil...and satisfied...smirk on his face. Davy wears an evil grin.*
(Mike looks up to glare at Alex, but his eyes widen when he sees Davy.)
Demon 1: Master, we've 'ad lotsa fun wit' 'im! (He yanks Mike's nose again; Mike screams silently)
Alex: *has a particularly happy sound to his voice* Yes, I can see that. I'm glad you had fun!
Demon 2: (Nods at Davy) Ain't he another one?
Alex: Yes and no. He...agreed...to help us out.
(Mike narrows his eyes in a "What do you mean?" glare.)
Alex: *leans into Mike's face, still with the stupid grin on his face* Hyp-no-tized. Get it?
(Mike's eyes widen. He tries to struggle, but his movements are sluggish and slow, thanks to the mist that consumes more of his body even as we watch.)
Alex: There's no sense in struggling, White Knight. You won't be getting away anytime soon. Besides, your friend here has a few things he like to show you first.
(Mike shakes his head and turns his large brown eyes to Davy, hoping he'll snap out of it.)
*Davy stops in front of Mike and holds his hands out in front of him. A dark blue light appears on his hands. When it clears, he holds Mike’s sword.*
(Mike's eyes widen. He lunges for Davy the best he can, which isn't very well as most of his arms and legs are consumed by mist.)
*Davy holds the handle and swings it around, up, and down either side of Mike, occasionally getting rather close.*
(Mike pulls his head away from the blade as best he can, but one of the demons grabs his hair and holds his head still.)
*Alex stands back, arms folding, grinning and watching the show. Davy holds the sword down for a moment, then puts his free hand on Mike's nose, removing his sense of smell!*
(Mike's eyes widen. He tries to sniff, but he can't smell a thing!)
*Davy backs off a bit, then points the sword right into Mike's face.*
(Mike stares at the sword, then directs his angered and shocked gaze upwards to his friend.)
*Davy then stabs the sword into the mist, very close to the side of Mike's head. He pulls back and stabs the other side.*
(Mike tries to move his head, but the demon retains his hold on it. He turns his wide, wild eyes to Davy, pleasing with his large brown eyes for Davy to snap out of Alex's spell.)
*Davy pulls the sword back and slaps Mike's face.*
(Mike's mouth drops open; he then opens his mouth to growl, but can't, and settles for mouthing "Davy, stop it! This ain't you!" while doing his best to pull away from the mist and the demons.)
(Mike's mouth drops open; he then opens his mouth to growl, but can't, and settles for mouthing "Davy, stop it! This ain't you!" while doing his best to pull away from the mist and the demons.)
*Davy drops the sword and pats both of Mike's cheeks. Mike’s face is turning a bright pink from the slaps.*
(Mike angrily tries to bite him, but it isn't very hard - he can't, with the demon clutching his head.)
*Davy grabs at Mike's hair and yanks!*
(Mike flinches and opens his mouth to let out a hurt growl...but naturally, can't.)
*Davy picks up the sword again, but while kneeling, stabs the sword between Mike's legs into the mist.*)
(Mike's jaw drops, and he stares at Davy in shock.)
*Davy stands and pats Mike's cheek.*
Alex: Wait a minute, Lord... *walks over to them* Allow me a moment. *grins at Mike* Hello, Knight.
(Mike glares at Alex.)
Alex: You don't look happy! How in the WORLD could anyone NOT be happy on such a glorious day!?
(Mike stares Alex straight in the eye. He wants him to release Davy, himself, and the others.)
Alex: Oh, hell no! Especially not my little Mother... *looks dreamy for a moment, then grins at Mike again* You need something. (Thinks; then) That's it...
(Mike shakes his head and tries to struggle, but the mist surrounds more of his body.)
*Alex runs his hands over Mike's chest, then over his butt, and turns away. He goes back to where he had been standing earlier.*
(Mike slowly tries to go for Alex, but the mist just surrounds his torso and upper legs; his legs are almost completely engulfed by the mist now.)
Alex: Let him stay here. We'll be back sometime later to continue our fun.
Demon 2: Can we stay? (Tugs at one of Mike's ears; he winces) He's fun to play with!
Alex: Of course you can stay! Here. *takes the sword from Davy and hands it to the demons* Play with this, too, but don't break it or do ANY damage to it whatsoever. Or else. *grins again* And now we have some other business to take care of...
(Mike's eyes widen; he doesn't quite believe the demons won't damage his sword.)
Demon 1: Oooh!
Demon 2: Big stick! This'll be fun! (He pokes at what remains of Mike's torso with it, just enough to hurt a little; Mike winces)
Alex: *as he and Davy ready to leave* Remember, if you break that sword... *grins again* Ta ta!
Demons: Taahh Tahhh! (it doesn't sound quite right, coming from them; they snicker and return to smacking Mike with the side of the sword and poking him)
(Fade out on the demons surrounding Mike; fade in on Micky and Daphne walking down a hallway, much like Val and Peter were in the previous part. Daph's spear is drawn.)
Daphne: (Sighs) This is crazy! We've checked every room on the first floor, and all we've seen are weird random dimensions and spaced fans of yours making out!
Micky: No wonder I just wanna get out of here. :P
Daphne: If we're going to find the others, maybe we should be more methodical. Why don't we see if we can find the top floor, then work our way down? If memory serves me correctly, the last time Sheila and Alex took over a hotel, they were living on the top floor. If we don't find more fans or the others, we may find the devils.
Micky: *nods* Sounds like a plan.
Daphne: There has to be stairs or an elevator here somewhere...ah ha! (She comes to an elaborate, old-fashioned elevator with heavy wooden doors. She presses a few buttons, and the door opens...to reveal what looks like the cartoon character Droopy Dog in a bellboy's uniform)
Droopy: (His usual monotone) Goin' up, folks?
(Daphne walks in...and falls smack on her face. Droopy leans right over her.)
Droopy: Mind the step, folks.
(Micky knows to mind the "step" - which is so high, he jumps down - and gets down without falling on his face as Daph gets to her feet.)
Daphne: Ok Droopy, take us all the way to the top!
Droopy: Yes, miss. (Droopy pushes a button...and suddenly, the elevator goes at warp-speed! Droopy looks up to see where his riders went. Daphne and Micky are now plastered to the ceiling of the elevator.)
Micky: *groans* Ow... :P
Droopy: Twentieth floor, folks. (He stops abruptly; Micky and Daphne tumble from the ceiling to the floor outside the elevator.)
Droopy: (Sticks his head out and says) Have a nice day, folks. (Pulls back in and closes the elevator. Daphne helps Micky to his feet)
Daphne: I'm never watching Saturday morning cartoons again.
Micky: I'm never riding in an elevator operated by a small dog again.
(The camera pulls out to reveal a short hallway. There are four doors in this hallway. One leads to the stairs. One is the elevator Micky and Daphne just came from. The two others are on opposite ends of the hall; both are wide, heavy, and ornate.)
Daphne: Well, let's start there (points to the left) and hope we stay in THIS dimension. (Makes a face) I'd like to know just where all these dimensions are coming from. The devils don't strike me as big cartoon fans.
Micky: I wonder if they might be using more than just their own imaginations or knowledge?
Daphne: Or maybe the hotel was already like this when they came here. (Looks at Micky) Remember, Sheila's in the business of restoring buildings. They might have created some of this, but I'll bet the rest...including our buddy Droopy back there...were already part of the hotel.
Micky: Good point.
(Two handmaidens stand on both ends of the hall. Daphne concentrates, hoping to turn them into something as she lunges for them. Daphne turns two of the handmaidens into cute, fluffy bunnies. Daph picks one up and strokes it, but she's making a face.)
Daphne: I wanted to turn them into statues!
*Micky concentrates. The other two handmaidens turn into puddles!* :
Micky: *eyes widen* I just wanted to freeze them!
Daphne: Well, this confirms it. There's something about this place that messes with our powers. The weapons work, but the "Imagination" part comes out screwy.
Micky: *sighs* We might as well just keep moving. I hope we don't need to use the Imagination Powers much.
Daphne: (Sighs as she tries to open the door; it's locked, of course) Damn it. And I didn't think to check if any of those handmaidens had the key before I gave them permanent fur coats.
Micky: Or before mine turned to water.
Daphne: I have an idea. Stand back, Mick. Hiyyyaaaa! (She kicks the door; does it several times until it finally gives way) I owe Kimberly one.
Micky: *grins* Nice kicking.
Daphne: Thanks. (She and Micky enter a gorgeous, huge suite of rooms. Actually, it's the Plaza Hotel rooms set from "Big Apple Monkees" gussied up with fancy Southwestern accents. Emma lays on a couch, asleep and still in her yellow floral nightgown.)
Micky: *eyes widen* It's Emma!
Daphne: Em? (She leans over her, checking her as much as possible) She seems ok. No damage anywhere. (Frowns) Where's Mike?
Micky: *wanders around, pushing his way through a few doors, using a shoulder* I don't see anyone else in here.
Daphne: (Growls) Alex and Sheila must have grabbed him and stuck Emma here. They wouldn't want to hurt her physically. (Puts a hand gently on her swollen stomach) Not with a future soul in her.
Micky: But they wouldn't just leave her here, not without someone or something keeping an eye on her, would they?
Daphne: They would if they were occupied elsewhere...and there are plenty of other warm bodies here to occupy them.
Micky: *frowns* Did you have to say it like that?
(Emma begins to stir, murmuring in her sleep.)
Daphne: What if they did something to her? Not physically...mentally. Sheila really made her crazy when she was pregnant with Katie.
Micky: I guess we'll find out.
Emma: (Eyes flutter open) Huh? Where...what's going on? Daph? Micky?
Micky: Yeah, it's us, Em. How do you feel?
Emma: Tired. A little nauseous. I have a headache.
Daphne: What do you remember?
Emma: Not much of anything, really. (Sits up, moaning)
Daphne: Maybe we'd better get you out of here and find Mike, before the demons come back.
Emma: Mike? That name rings a slight bell...
Daphne: Your husband!
Micky: Tall guy, Texas accent, can be pushy most of the time... ;)
Emma: I don't remember... (Groans again) It's so hazy.
Daphne: (Looks at Micky) They must have erased her memory of Mike.
Micky: Great. :P
Emma: (Puts her head in her hand) I don't remember anything before now. My head HURTS...
Daphne: (Looks around) Let's get her out of here. (Puts a hand on Emma's arm) Come on, Em. We'll get you out of here.
Emma: Where ARE we?
Daphne: We'll tell you on the way.
(Daphne and Micky help Emma out of the room as best they can as the scene fades out.)
(We fade in...on a missile coming straight towards us! Cut to outside a door, as Valerie and Peter once again scream and pile into the hallway.)
Valerie: We need to stop making exits that way.
Peter: We need to find a real room, or at least something that won't attack us!
Valerie: This is ridiculous. Maybe we should just use our Imagination Power. THAT should take us to the others, or at least some of them!
Peter: It couldn't hurt to try.
(Blue lights surround Peter and Valerie. When they subside, they stand in the cabin where Lauren is hidden.)
Peter: Where are we?
Valerie: I don't know...(turns to the bed and sees a familiar figure laying under the sheets)...Lauren!
Lauren: *opens her eyes* Not again!*blinks, seeing Valerie and Peter* Val! Peter!
Valerie: Lauren, are you ok?
Lauren: Uhhh, mostly. Please don't ask.
Valerie: Don't tell me. Alex.
Lauren: Yeah... :P
Peter: Oh dear.
Valerie: (Points at the chalk marks behind her - there's a much different number than what we last saw) What the heck is this, demon math class?
Lauren: *sighs* Something like that.
*Peter counts the number of markings.*
Valerie: Any idea of how to get OUT of here? We just sort of imagined ourselves here.
Lauren: *sits up; shakes her head* No. Alex said the outside was surrounded by an invisible wall. I have the lump on my head to prove it.
Valerie: Damn. I guess you wouldn't know where Micky or anyone else is, would you? We've been searching for everyone for HOURS!
Lauren: I've been stuck here the whole time. *mutters* Not that I would've really known if any of them had even actually been in this room...
Valerie: We've been wandering around the halls, trying to find a room that actually has a room in it.
Peter: We found one this time.
Lauren: Yeah, you found one... *brief blue light around her; sighs and finally allows a small smile.*
Demon 1: Mother, we have brought you... (A group of demons push a tea cart in; the one who spoke frowns at the sight of Peter and Valerie) Who are they?
Lauren: Uhh...visitors!
Demon 3: Master says you're not to have visitors!
Demon 2: They are slaves?
Lauren: Yeah! They're slaves!
Demon 2: They're not dressed like slaves!
Valerie: We're new.
Demon 4: I remember her! (Points at Valerie) She lady in our cave! She have sword, and she cut me! I just play with my slave!
Peter: Oh no...
Lauren: *joins them; she's fully clothed* Alex said he wants me to be comfortable. Having them here makes me comfortable! DON'T make me Uncomfortable!
Demon 2: Mother, they should not be here! Master Alex say you not to have guests!
Lauren: Uhh...
Valerie: We can be here if we want to be!
Demon 1: No, you not!
Peter: Yes we can!
Demon 3: Let's get them outta here!
Valerie: (Pulls out her sword) How'd you like to be poked again?
Demon 2: Get them!
("PO Box 9847" begins as Valerie and the demon begin a poking match.)
*Lauren goes over to the wall and starts erasing the chalk marks.*
*Peter makes his bow and arrows appear and threatens two demons with it.*
(Valerie helps Lauren with the chalk marks.)
(Valerie and Lauren push the tea cart into some of the demons, knocking them over like bowling pins. They high-five each other.)
(Valerie whirls all around a demon, slicing and dicing. When she's finished, the demon is hairless. He covers himself as best he can, blushes, and tiptoes off-camera.)
(Peter sips tea with two demons, actually enjoying their company.)
*Lauren borrows Peter’s bow and arrows and pins a demon to a wall, completely outlined in arrows.*
(Valerie jumps on one demon, who actually flies around the room with her on his back. Valerie jumps off just as he flies into a wall and knocks himself out.)
(Valerie dusts off her hands as the song comes to an end.)
Valerie: Very good, guys.
Lauren: Thanks for letting me borrow your bow and arrows, Peter.
Peter: You're welcome.
Valerie: Ok, now we have to figure out how to get out of here before Alex shows up and realizes his favorite toy is missing.
Lauren: Well, you said you imagined yourselves IN...
Peter: What toy?
Valerie: (Sighs) Never mind, Peter. (To Lauren) I guess we could imagine ourselves OUT...though I have no idea where we'd actually end up. Every door in this nuthouse leads everywhere but the hotel!
Lauren: Right now, anywhere but HERE is perfectly fine with me.
Valerie: All right, but I'm not guaranteeing anything. There's something about this place that seems to wreck havoc on our powers.
Lauren: No kidding.
Valerie: Ok guys, concentrate...
(There's a series of blue and dark blue lights, and the three vanish amid moaning demons. The camera ends up on the chalk marks...and the number of them is once again different.)
