Everyone ready for the tournament?

Micky: You bet! :D

Mike: Ready to watch it...and find Davy.

Peter: I can't wait to play! :)

Daphne: Please find Davy soon...

(We open on the morning of the big tournament. Micky, Lauren, and Peter, all wearing their best tennis clothes, walk across the paths around the main buildings.)

Peter: I'm getting worried. We haven't heard from Davy in days. Michael and Emma are still searching for that underground room, and poor Daph's getting frantic!

Micky: They must have him hidden somewhere.

Lauren: We'll continue to keep an eye out for him.

Peter: Yeah. (Frowns) And then, there's the tournament. I think the Devils and the Demons may be planning something big for this.

(They cross over to the golf courses. Peter nods at the tennis courses just beyond them.)

Micky: It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Peter: We have to keep a sharp eye out for anything unusual or bizarre going...whoa! (Suddenly, Peter seems to fall face-first into nothingness. That "nothingness" turns out to be a very large hole. The camera follows Peter into the hole...where he's landed on Jessie and Nyles, both carrying shovels.)

Jessie: Ow.

Peter: Oh man... (As he climbs off of them) What in the HECK is going on?

Jessie: We last saw that little rat pop out of this hole!

Peter: Why is the hole so big?

Jessie: We wanted to go after him! If he won't come to us, we thought we'd go to him!

Peter: Don't tell me. You haven't found him yet.

Jessie: I haven't. I don't know about Nyles.

Nyles: *Pops up, empty-handed* Not yet. I thought I saw him, though.

Jessie: When? Where?

Nyles: Right before Peter landed on us.

Peter: There has to be a better way to find him than digging up the golf course.

Jessie: We were going to put everything back the way it was after we caught him, weren't we, Nyles?

Nyles: Of course, we were!

Peter: You can't replant grass in five minutes!

Jessie: We could color the ground so it looks green!

Nyles: *Nods* There's green spray paint in the shed!

Peter: Guys, it wouldn't work...and the paint would harm the grounds.

Jessie: I know! Artificial turf! They use it in a lot of new stadiums!

Peter: (Eyes widen) What?

Jessie: Fake grass! We could get it anywhere! (Looks at Nyles) Do you think Easter grass would work? Or we could grab a whole bunch of those plastic mats people use to wipe their feet, the ones with the cute daisies!

Nyles: Plastic mats! That'll do it!

Micky: Guys, no.

Jessie: Come on, Ny! We'll refill this, then go get them!

Peter: But...could someone help me out first?

Jessie: Uh, yeah. (Nyles and Jessie give Peter a boost. The camera cuts to the grass, where Micky and Lauren help pull Peter out of the hole.)

Peter: God... (he brushes himself off) someone needs to find those two another hobby.

Lauren: Definitely.

Peter: I hope we're not late for the tournament.

(They make their way down to the tennis courts. We can see, even from a distance, that the bleachers are fairly full.)

Peter: Looks like they haven't started yet. (Turns to Lauren) The women's tournaments are first. You keep one eye on the contestants and the other on your game. Micky and I will practice and get ready for the men's tournaments.

Lauren: *Nods* Right. I'll see you fellas later! *heads off towards the court*

Peter: (Turns to Micky) Let's go down to the stands and take a look around. I wouldn't put it past the Devils to try something at the tournaments.

Micky: I'm almost positive of it.

Peter: They've probably hexed the courts or something.

(The camera follows the boys to the courts. It keeps going as they make their way to the stands over to the area where the competitors wait for their game. Sheila and Alex practice by hitting the ball lightly to each other.)

Sheila: (Misses Alex's serve) Very nice, Alex. You're improving.

Alex: Thank you, Milady.

Sheila: You may even have a chance at winning the tournament. Be glad Belavarg can't enter, since he owns the place. He's been playing almost as long as me.

Alex: I am glad. He's kicked my ass on the court enough times already.

Sheila: Did you and Zelda set up the machine yet?

Alex: *Nods* It's all set to go.

Sheila: I'm glad you kept the blueprints for that mass soul-removing machine we originally used in Canada. It'll come in quite handy.

Alex: *Smirks* You're glad?

Sheila: We'll turn it on during the last rounds of the men's tournaments, when the crowd is at it's peak capacity. (Smirks; looks towards the end of the courts) Isn't that the Savage, his wife, and the Bard coming now? Falling right into our trap.

Alex: Why, yes, it is!

Sheila: That means the others should be along shortly. I doubt any of them will be in the tournament, but those three will.

Emma: (She runs out to the three as they arrive) Hi, guys. We're all here. Daphne even has off today.

Peter: (Nods) Good. We're going to need everyone here.

Emma: (Grins) Ready to kick rear at the women's tournaments, Lauren?

Lauren: You'd better believe it!

Emma: (Nods at Micky and Peter) You boys practice. The rest of us will look for Davy and figure out what the Devils and Demons are up to.

Peter: It has to be something. Sheila and Alex are both in the tournaments. They must have something really big planned.

Emma: (Gives her friend a quick hug) Good luck. I hope you win the whole thing!

Peter: Yeah, Lauren. Knock them right out of the stadium!

Lauren: That's what I'm planning on.

Announcer: Would the first contestants for the Women's Tennis Tournament please take the stands?

Emma: You're on, baby. Go get 'em!

(The fast version of "Through the Looking Glass" begins as the guys head over to the stands to look for the Devils and Lauren goes to face her first opponent, a tall, slender blonde with a red bow. She's grinning and smiling, waving at all the boys in the crowd.)

(Mike grins at the girl's flirtatious glances to the crowd, but Emma elbows him.)

(The girl proves to be a good athlete and a fairly tough opponent, but Lauren finally gets the ball past her and wins the round. The girl grins and slaps her on the back. You're one heck of a player!)

*Lauren nods, thanking her and saying she was a good opponent.*

(Cut to the crowds as we move to our next opponents. We get shots of a tall, pony-tailed red-head and a smaller girl with short, blue-black hair as Mike and Emma search the crowd, looking for Sheila and Alex in an attempt to find what they're up to. Mike thinks he sees Sheila...and nearly falls into the lap of a girl with wavy red hair and a green bow sitting with her nerdy boyfriend with huge glasses. She blushes as he yells at Mike and Mike slinks away.)

(Sheila snorts. Her opponent is a tiny little woman with long titian pigtails. She's obviously not the best athlete and misses many shots. Sheila wins easily, chuckling as the blonde wails and her tall, dark-haired husband has to lead her off the court.)

(Cut to Peter and Micky. Peter points to Alex as he emerges from under the bleachers, looking secretive. Now, what was he doing there?)

*Micky jerks a thumb. Why don't we go find out?*

(Peter nods. They head under the bleachers as we catch a glimpse of Lauren playing a tall, muscular blond with short hair and a killer serve. The blond finally goes over to shake Lauren's hand.)

(Mike finally sees Alex and goes after him as he emerges, followed by Emma. He grabs hold of Alex's collar. What in the hell are you up to, boy?)

*Alex just grins and shrugs. He had to take a whizz!*

(Mike shakes Alex. He doesn't believe him. For one thing, the men's bathrooms are clear in the opposite direction.)

*Alex shrugs again. He couldn't wait that long! He pulls out a very large and very empty cup that appeared to house soda.*

(Mike lets him go, making a face. Emma wrinkles her nose. Mike still doesn't believe him, but he can't prove it. He storms back onto the bleachers, followed by Emma.)

(Cut to Lauren and the girl with the red ponytail as the song winds down. The girl misses the final serve, despite her huge effort.)

Announcer: And the winner is, Mrs. Lauren Dolenz! She will be moving onto our final match!

Girl: (Goes to Lauren) Hey, you're really good! (She shakes her hand) Good luck in the final!

Lauren: Thanks! You played well, too.

Girl: Thank you! (They both walk off the court as we prepare for the final round. Mike and Emma join Micky, Peter, and Lauren.)

Mike: The others are scannin' the crowd. Em and I saw Alex doin' somethin' suspicious, but he claimed he just really had to go to the bathroom.

Emma: Not that we believed him.

Lauren: Figures.

Peter: Micky and I think we may have found something under the bleachers.

Mike: Do you think Alex set somethin' up under there, like at that concert in Canada?

Micky: I'd be surprised if he didn't.

Peter: What do you mean?

Micky: Think about it. It's the perfect opportunity to do something to a very large group of mostly important and wealthy people.

Peter: Take their souls!

Micky: Bingo.

Mike: Last year, Alex devised a machine that could remove hundreds of souls at a time. Micky dismantled it before he could use it, but I think he may have built another one.

Peter: Oh, that's not good. We have to find him and it!

Micky: If we can find it, I can dismantle it again.

Announcer: Would Mrs. Lauren Dolenz and Ms. Sheila Saunders come to the courts for the final match?

Emma: Lauren, that's you. At least you'll be able to keep an eye on Sheila while we're looking for this machine.

Lauren: Right. Good luck finding the machine, guys! *Waves as she heads for the court*

Mike: Emma and I will look for Alex and Zelda while you two dismantle the machine.

Peter: (Nods) Right. We'll have to do it quickly. The men's tournament begins a half-hour after the women's ends.

Emma: Ok. Good luck, guys!

Micky: Thanks!

(The two groups separate. Emma and Mike go above the bleachers. Micky and Peter dart under it. We briefly see Alex go under the bleachers as well as the camera cuts to the main court.)

Sheila: (Smirks as she watches Lauren make her way onto the court) Prepared to be soundly thrashed, Mother?

Lauren: Me, thrashed? I highly doubt that, Sheila.

Sheila: You haven't got the experience in this game that I do.

Lauren: Perhaps not, but that doesn't mean I can't win.

Sheila: We shall see, Mother. (They begin their game, neither letting up an inch. Cut to Micky and Peter under the bleachers.)

Peter: Whatever Alex built has to be here SOMEWHERE.

Micky: He would've put it...slightly out of sight...but it plain view of all the people...

Peter: It has to be around somewhere... (Peter wanders in one direction, not noticing Micky's wandered in the other.)

(Cut to the court. Micky watches Lauren and Sheila play back and forth on the courts, cheering her on. Lauren finally hits the ball in a direction Sheila can't catch up with.)

*Micky cheers a bit, then starts looking around again.*

Announcer: (Muffled under the bleachers) And Mrs. Lauren Dolenz is the winner of this year's Malibu Beach Women's Tennis Tournament!

(Micky doesn't notice two sets of hands - one clawed - reach out for him...)

*Belavarg grabs Micky around the waist, pinning his arms, while Alex moves around front of Micky and silences his voice. Micky's eyes widen and he struggles. Alex grins, then the three disappear.*
