You boys ready for a motorcycle ride?

Mike: Heck yeah.

Peter: I am!

Micky: You bet!

Davy: I am.

(We open on the road along the beach on Coconut Island. Four motorcycles speed down the open road. Two of the cycles have coolers strapped to the back.)

Mike: (They stop in a parking lot that overlooks the ocean; flips his helmet visor open) Hey, that's not a bad view.

Peter: (Flips his open) It's truly inspirational!

Micky: That's beautiful!

Davy: Not bad at all.

Mike: I'm glad we took this time out. This place is great for a ride, and great to work on the new cycles. Micky, this updated design of yours for the MonkeeCycles is just cool.

Micky: Thanks, man.

Mike: (Nods down to the beach) Wanna go ridin' down there? There ain't gonna be too many people on the beach at this time of the day and year.

Peter: We haven't gone riding on the beach in ages. (Smiles) We can get all dusty, and then clean off and join the girls in the pool.

Mike: (Turns to Micky and Davy) You two ready to tackle the beach? (Smirks) Or are you afraid you gonna end up eatin' sand?

Micky: I'm ready.

Davy: I am, too, mate.

("A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You" begins as the Monkees ride onto the beach. Mike goes over several sand dunes, using them like a ramp...and enjoying every opportunity to show off.)

(Peter sticks to the beach proper. He twists and turns around the shore.)

*Micky does figure-eights.*

(Mike smirks and does circles around Micky.)

*Micky follows Mike, almost piggy-backing his bike, he's so close.*

(Mike speeds ahead, leaving Micky in a cloud of dust and sand.)

*Davy rides around, enjoying himself.*

(Peter rides alongside Davy, enjoying the scenery.)

(Mike now seems to be "flying" on his bike. What he's really doing is using his powers to lift himself into the air.)

(Peter pushes a button. A net flies out and pulls Mike down to Earth. He stops his motorcycle and makes a face at Peter. Peter lets Mike go and follows Micky down the beach.)

(Mike grins as Peter tosses a net at Micky.)

*Micky zig-zags, avoiding the net.*

(Peter snaps his fingers. Darn!)

(Mike tries to blow Micky over with his powers.)

(Peter swerves around them and follows Davy again. He pushes a button. A hand puts a coat over a mud puddle as Davy drives through it. No messy splashes!)

*Davy waves his thanks.*

(Peter nods at Davy and continues on his way.)

(Mike continues to try to blow Micky over.

*Micky dodges Mike and his powers.*

(Peter stops suddenly, almost knocking Davy off his bike! He points to a mother crab and her babies crossing the road. He didn't want to crack them!)

*Davy stops as well to help Peter protect the poor family of crabs.*

(Mike has now turned in the opposite direction. Micky is trying to scorch him with his flame powers!

Peter sighs and finally corrals Mike with a rope of vines. Enough, you two!)

*Davy sends out a pouring-rain-cloud over Micky.*

*Micky yelps, complaining loudly.*

Peter: (As he stops his cycle...and the song ends) Enough, guys. You're getting carried away.

Mike: Aw Pete, we were just havin' a little fun!

Micky: And I only started because Mike did!

Peter: Don't you two go into that "he started it" thing! (Sighs) Why don't we have lunch? I have a blanket with me. I'm sure Micky, at the very least, must be hungry.

Mike: Now that you mention it...

Micky: Obviously.

(Peter pulls off his helmet and sets up his blanket on a picnic table near the sand dunes. Mike takes his helmet off and pull out a cooler that has sodas and bottled water.)

*Micky and Davy produce food and condiments from the coolers.*

Peter: (Grins) Thanks, guys! Where did you get those wonderful-looking roast beef subs and vegetable sandwiches?

Micky: *Shares a knowing grin with Davy* Oh, we got them from someone who knows their food.

Mike: I don't care where you got them from, as long as they're edible. (Grabs a roast beef sub)

Peter: (As he takes his vegetable sandwich) I'm glad we decided to take this trip together. I love the ladies, but I haven't really seen all of you much lately, since I've been teaching.

Mike: Yeah. We have a lot to talk about.

Peter: Micky, how do you feel about almost being a dad again?

Micky: Excited, happy, nervous, worried, ecstatic...

Mike: A lotta stuff, right?

Peter: I'm sure you'll be fine. The twins and Leah are darling.

Micky: Yeah.

Mike: Ya think Lauren could talk to Em? She ain't been wantin' to do nuthin' for ages!

Micky: I can try, but it's up to Em in the end.

Mike: (Sighs) Yeah, I know. Davy, how are you n' Daph?

Peter: (Shrugs) Valerie and I are...well, we're doing better.

Davy: We're doing well.

Mike: Ain’t been eyein' anythin' lately?

Davy: *Sighs* TRYING not to.

Mike: Nothin' she can see, right?

Peter: Or the other Abbies can see.

Davy: Not on purpose. It's just a difficult habit to break.

Mike: (Shrugs) We'll help 'ya there.

Peter: I'm sure you'll be all right, Davy.

Davy: Thank you, Peter.

Mike: We're gonna need everyone goin' at full tilt when we get back. Beyond the work on the company and Pete's teachin' and Em's worryin' bout her job, (frowns) I've been sniffin' trouble lately. To my knowledge, the Devils are still in jail, but we never did figure out what happened to Belavarg.

Peter: You think he'll come back?

Mike: I KNOW it. It's the same deal as when Sheila disappeared, Pete. It was quiet for months, then, all of a sudden...POW! She reappears and goes after us again.

Peter: There isn't much we can do besides be aware of it, Michael.

Mike: Yeah, well, we have more than two babies to think about this time. Lauren will be havin' her kid probably right after we get back, and Austin's still really little. Not to mention. Belavarg might try to buy Dark Star Records back or start another company.

Peter: The best way to handle Belavarg is to be in top shape. (Grins) If you're all finished eating, why don't we do a little practicing? There's no one on the beach.

Mike: (Shrugs) We don't have to meet the ladies for another hour, and there ain't no one out here.

Peter: Come on, guys! Want to take us on?

Micky: Sure.

(The four go onto the beach as "Papa Gene's Blues" begins. Mike and Peter get on one side, Davy and Micky the other. Mike starts by blasting a small bit of wind at the two, followed by sand and dried seaweed from Peter.)

*Micky uses a wall of fire to redirect the wind, sand and seaweed away.*

(Mike and Peter jump away from either side. Peter makes a chain of dried seaweed wrap around the younger men.)

(Mike tries to blow them off their feet!)

(Peter squeezes them a little with the seaweed.)

(Mike blows harder.)

*Rain clouds appear over both Mike and Peter's heads. They get minorly zapped by small lightning bolts.*

Mike: Yipes!

Peter: (Jumps; over the music) Whoa! (Peter makes flowers grow around them, while Mike tries blowing Davy's rain clouds back to him.)

Mike: Eat your own rain, boy.

Peter: Are you two ready to give up yet?

Micky: Never!

*Davy's rain cloud accidentally zaps Micky.*

(Mike and Peter snicker.)

Micky: YOW!

Mike: (Laughs as the music ends) You guys are crazy.

Peter: Maybe we ought to get going now. We’ll be late to meet the girls.

Mike: Yeah. I could use a swim.

Peter: Ok, let's clean up the food and head out. (They head back towards the coolers and the bikes as the camera fades out on the flowers and seaweed in the sand.)
