Everyone ready for breakfast and a fishing trip?

Mike: Five more minutes, Em....

Peter: (Sighs) I am. I don't know about the rest of them.

Micky: Coffee...

Davy: Tea...

(Fade in on the cafe area as light filters through the trees. Emma, Valerie, Peter, and Daphne are already there, enjoying the breakfast buffet.)

Emma: (Sighs) Mike refused to get up this morning. It's a good thing this will be going on until noon.

Peter: What happened with them last night? I heard the most awful noise coming from outside, and then Micky and Lauren's room...

Emma: The boys got drunk and showed up at their room.

Peter: (As Lauren joins them) But why... (sees Lauren) Hey there. No Micky?

Lauren: He'll be around later, hopefully.

Emma: He wouldn't get up either, huh?

Lauren: Nope.

Valerie: I don't see Davy here either, Daph.

Daphne: Eventually.

Peter: Maybe it would help if I tried to round up the other guys.

Valerie: But what about our fishing trip?

Peter: You could go without us. I don't think the other guys will make it in time to catch the boat, anyway.

Valerie: (Frowns) I was looking forward to going on the trip with you.

Peter: Someone's going to have to be there when the guys wake up. They'll need coffee, among other things. I know them. I've seen them after a night of carousing. I know how to handle them.

Emma: Peter, we have, too.

Peter: No offense, ladies, but I think they'll react better to a man than a woman right now. (Sighs) And besides, you guys shouldn't have to give up your vacation time just because they drank too much last night.

Valerie: Maybe we could call the boys on the communicator and see if they're up yet...

Emma: If we haven't seen them by now, they're not up yet.

Peter: I'm done with breakfast. I'm going to go back to the guys.

Valerie: (Kisses Peter on the cheek) We'll be back in a few hours, then.

Peter: (Nods) You girls be careful, especially Lauren. We're supposed to have nice weather all week, but I don't want anyone getting hurt while they're on that boat.

Emma: That'll happen over my scarred body.

Valerie: We'll keep an eye on Lauren. She'll wear a life jacket at all times and will always have one or more of us with her.

Daphne: Darn right.

Peter: All right. (He gives Valerie a kiss on the cheek) Why don't we meet after you girls get in and spend some time on the beach? It'll probably be all the guys are up for, anyway.

Valerie: That sounds like fun.

Peter: (He gets up) I'll see you girls later! If anything changes or something happens, call me on the communicator.

Valerie: We will! (Peter heads out.)

Emma: (Makes a face) Those idiots. I really feel sorry for Peter. He's taking on a big task.

Daphne: *Nods* I wouldn't want that job for anything.

Valerie: I think he's up for it. Like he said, he's cleaned up after the boys before. I have the feeling he did that a lot when they lived together.

Emma: How's the buffet, Lauren? What's food is Little Dolenz craving today?

Lauren: Whatever I could get my hands on.

Valerie: (Sees all the food Lauren is eating) That child is really hungry, isn't he?

Emma: Must take after his daddy.

Lauren: And I hate Mick for it.

Emma: You'll have one kid take after you someday. How do you think I feel about having two kids with a lot of Mike in them around, especially since one is female?

Lauren: *Sighs* Maybe.

Valerie: Austin seems to have gotten Peter's hair color, but he's a bit noisier than Jordan was at his age. (Chuckles) I wonder if I finally got one who takes after me.

Emma: Lucky.

Valerie: (Looks at her watch) The boat will be leaving soon. Maybe you could get some of that wrapped up for later, Lauren, or you could bring it with us and eat it on the boat.

Lauren: I'm bringing it with me.

Valerie: In that case, shall we tip the bus boy and head to the dock?

Emma: We shall. (She helps Lauren round up the rest of her food.)

(Cut to a small boat. There's already a few other people gathered on the deck with fishing rods. Emma and Daphne help Lauren up the gangplank with her bag of food. They're followed by Valerie, who carries a tackle box and fishing rods.)

Emma: Val, do you need any help?

Valerie: (Shakes her head as she juggles the rods) Oh, no. I'm fine. You two help Lauren.

Emma: (Smooths out a seat along the side of the captain's cabin) Here you go, Lauren. Somewhere nice and soft to sit and finish your breakfast.

Lauren: Thanks.

Emma: I know you're not into the water, so you just sit here and eat and rate the size of our fish.

Lauren: I can handle that.

("The Kind of Girl I Could Love" begins as the boat leaves the dock. Emma and Valerie smile and point out the lovely scenery they pass by - all the boats and people and the trees and plants and huge resorts on the island.)

(Daphne flirts with a big guy in jeans and a baseball cap who shows her how to properly cast a line.)

(When the boat finally stops, the three women line up on deck. Emma casts hers first. She leans back, pulls out a book, and reads it as she awaits a tug on her line.)

(Valerie walks around the deck until she finds what seems like the best spot to catch a good fish. She checks the water to see if there's anything down there, then casts her line. She watches intently for the first sign of a tug.)

*Daphne gets herself set up and kicks back.*

(Valerie gets a tug first. She pulls on her line...and pulls out a fish the size of a minnow. She shows it to Lauren to inspect.)

*Lauren shrugs. It's good for a start.*

(Emma tugs next. She finally pulls up...a tire. She shows it to Lauren anyway.)

*Lauren gives her an A for effort.*

(Emma shrugs and leans the tire against the side of the cabin. Maybe they can use it back at the resort.)

(Valerie gets another tug. This time, she tugs so hard, all she pulls out of the water is a fish skeleton! She shows it to Lauren, making a face.)

*Lauren just shakes her head.*

(Emma pulls up...a fish that seems to have teeth and is eating it's way up the line! Emma quickly shows it to Lauren, holding it as far away from anything edible as possible.)

*Lauren hollers to throw it back quickly!*

(Emma does so.)

(Valerie pulls out what looks like a small, fat fish with huge red lips that looks like it's ready to kiss her! She raises and eye brow and shows it to Lauren.)

*Lauren slaps her forehead, shaking her head.*

(The fish actually gives Lauren a big, sloppy kiss before Valerie tosses it back into the Pacific.)

*Lauren blows a razzberry at it.*

(Emma next pulls out a fish that looks like it has a lion's mane. It growls at Lauren when Emma shows it to her.)

(Valerie pulls up a fish that looks like a dog. The dog-fish chases the lion-fish across the deck and back into the water, startling several of the other people fishing. One man is so surprised, he almost falls in the Pacific!)

*Lauren just shakes her head.*

(Emma taps Daph's shoulder. Caught anything yet?)

*Daphne shrugs. Not yet.*

(The three girls are back to leaning against the railing as the song ends. Valerie sighs.)

Valerie: I wish I could catch one genuine fish!

Emma: Figures we'd find the one spot in the entire Pacific Ocean with no fish in it to go fishing.

Daphne: I wouldn't say no fish... *turns around, holding a good-sized salmon*

Valerie: (Eyes widen) Where did you get that?

Emma: Did you run to a super market while our backs were turned or imagine it here or something?

Daphne: No. I caught it.

Valerie: When did you catch it?

Emma: That could feed all of us twice, even Micky!

Lauren: A+, Daph.

Emma: And then some! (Looks up as we hear the sound of an engine) I think we're heading back now.

Valerie: I wonder if they'll let us keep that?

Emma: We'll have to ask them when we get back to shore.

Valerie: (Points to the land) There's the dock!

Emma: (She goes to Lauren) You ready to go? Need any help?

(Emma shakes her head at the now-empty containers surrounding Lauren on the seat next to the cabin.)

Valerie: You and Dolenz Junior got a little hungry, Lauren?

Lauren: Always hungry.

Emma: We'll see if we can fry that fish up for you and the guys after we get in.

(The boat stops at the dock at this point. Cut to Micky and Lauren's room. Peter seems to be making something on a hot-plate. Mike is sprawled in a chair. Davy lays on the floor. Micky is face-down on the couch.)

Peter: Ok, who wanted coffee, and who wanted tea?

Mike: (Mutters) Coffee.

Micky: Mmph.

Davy: Tea...

Peter: (Sits Davy's tea on the floor and Mike's coffee on a table next to the chair, then leans over Micky) I didn't quite catch that, Mick.

Micky: *Doesn't move* Mmph.

Peter: Coffee it is! (He puts coffee on a table next to Micky) Here you go.

Mike: How can you be chipper this early in the mornin'?

Peter: Michael, it's quarter after two.

Mike: Like I said, early in the mornin'.

Peter: Well, if you three hadn't gone and gotten yourselves sloshed, you'd be feeling a lot better.

Mike: Did we get ourselves sloshed last night? I don't remember.

Davy: There was a last night?

Micky: Mmph.

Peter: The girls should be home soon. Maybe we could take them out on the beach for a game of volleyball or some sunbathing. Do you think you'd be up to that?

Mike: Maybe.

Micky: Mmph.

Davy: *Groans* Mick, stop repeating yourself.

(The girls enter at this point, Daphne toting her huge catch.)

Valerie: Hello, boys! How are all of our patients tonight, Peter darling?

Peter: Up and about. It took me long enough just to get them that far.

Mike: What is that huge thing Daph's carryin' around?

Daphne: My prize catch.

Davy: *Lopsided grin* Nice catch.

Mike: Big.

Emma: Our Daph did very well for herself.

Valerie: We were able to get them to let us keep it after they photographed Daph for their "record-sized catch" wall. I rented a barbecue pit and pavilion at the beach for dinner. We could go out and do some sunbathing and play volleyball or Frisbee.

Emma: We could get picnic supplies at that little convenience store Val and Daph found last Memorial Day weekend.

Mike: Will it require movin'?

Peter: I think it sounds like fun!

Emma: We're going to need someone to do the grilling. (Grins) Someone like Micky.

Micky: Mmph...
