Lauren and Micky waved out the front door as Mike and Emma drove off, taking the twins and Leah to watch for a few days so Micky and Lauren could have some time by themselves.

Micky closed the door and eyed Lauren. "We’ve got the whole house to ourselves..."

"Yes, we do. Now, just remember to stay calm, okay?" Lauren said.

Micky nodded. "I’ll do my best. We need to... get back in sync."

"It’s such a shame to interrupt this dialogue..."

"Sheila!" Micky growled, looking around. "Show yourself!"

Sheila appeared in a black light in front of them. "Here I am. Am I putting a damper on some plans?"

"Yes!" Micky said, practically seething.

"Not this time, Savage. I’m ready for your little secret weapon..." Sheila snapped her fingers and two demons appeared, each taking one of Lauren’s arms.

"Mick!" Lauren called out.

"Savage, if you even thing of trying to damage me, I’ll have them damage the Mother," Sheila warned.

Micky gulped. "Deal. What do you want?"

Sheila sauntered up to him, causing his eyes to widen as she ran her fingertips over his chest.

"No!" Lauren yelled, then struggled against the demons, but they held her tight.

Sheila glanced over her shoulders. "Boys, would take the Mother out of the room for a few minutes? I won’t be long."

The demons did as told, with Lauren struggling the entire way.

"They’d better not harm her," Micky said.

"Savage, you’re hardly in any position to make threats," Sheila said, then began to walk around him. When she was behind him, he jumped.

"Hey!?" Micky exclaimed.

Sheila stopped in front of him and grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him closer to her. "I can do whatever I want."

"Don’t do this, please..." Micky pleaded.

"Too late," Sheila said, reaching down as she leaned in to kiss him.

Micky gasped as she grabbed him, then everything went black when she kissed him.

---------------

"Mick?"

"Mick, wake up."

"Micky..."

"George Michael Dolenz, wake up right now!"

Micky woke with a start, but managed to remain on the bed, despite breathing heavily.

Lauren was leaning over him, a look of concern on her face. "Mick... another nightmare?"

Micky nodded once. "Sheila... had two demons watching you while she..."

"You don’t have to finish," Lauren said, the slowly and carefully rested a hand on his chest.

Micky, despite knowing it was Lauren, still jerked at her touch. "I--I’m sorry, babe..."

"Sorry for what? We tried earlier and got somewhere... or at least far enough for you to fall asleep." Lauren smiled at him, even though he still wore a scared look on his face.

"I don’t know how much longer I can take these nightmares. I... I don’t know what’s real and what isn’t anymore," Micky said, wearily.

Lauren gave him a sympathetic look. "We’re going to work on that and find out why you keep having them." She paused, "You need to relax, Mick. I’m just gonna rest my head on your chest and we’ll just stay like that until you feel better, okay?"

Micky nodded and she did as she said.

They stayed that way for several hours thereafter.
