You ladies ready to bowl?

Kimberly: You're goin' down!

Maxine: We've got ya beat!

Katie: Bow! Bow!

Jenny: I'm having a great time!

Lauren: Ready and rarin'!

Daphne: I just sharpened my pencil! Let 'em roll!

*The twins jump up and down, cheering.*

Valerie: Let's play!

Jordan: Yay! (Claps) Ma!

(It's a bit later. The Abbies are all beaming, as they're winning. Emma grumbles. Katie and the twins play with toys on the chairs, next to where Daphne keeps score.)

Emma: (To Daphne) They CAN'T be beating us by five points!

Daphne: *shrugs* Sorry, but that's how the numbers roll.

Lauren: *sighs* And her math is right, too. I checked it.

Valerie: Come on, Em, we're up! We'll get them!

Maxine: Sure you will.

Kimberly: Told 'ya we were gonna cream 'ya.

Lauren: Yeah, yeah. :P

Katie: (Puts down her doll) "I'm bored. (Sighs) How's the score? Who's winning the game?"

Little Mick: "I don't know about the score, but the Abbies look really happy."

Katie: "That must mean they're winning. Mommy doesn't look happy at all!"

Jordan: (He was napping. He rolls over and opens his eyes) "Huh? Wha's goin' on?"

Katie: "The Abbies are winning and my mommy isn't happy about it."

Shelly: "Our mom isn't happy, either."

Emma: (Cheers) Picked up a spare! :D

Maxine: Lucky shot.

Lauren: Alright, Em!

Valerie: Nice!

Katie: Yay, Mama! You good!

Emma: (Grins and bows before the children) Thank you, dear. At least someone recognizes natural talent. (Sticks her tongue out at Maxine over her shoulder; Maxine sticks hers out in return)

Katie: (Sighs) "I wanna go do something fun."

Little Mick: "Me too."

Jordan: (Yawns) "What do you mean? Aren't we having fun?"

Shelly: "Not really, no."

Katie: "Let's look around. Our mamas aren't watching. We'll be back before they even realize we're gone, and there aren't that many people here. Maybe we can go over to where those machines are and get something to eat."

Little Mick: "Food! Let’s go!"

Jordan: "I can't walk very far, and what if our mommies notice and get mad?"

Katie: "They won't notice, silly! They're busy playing their game." (Grins) "I'll help you walk! I've helped you before!"

Jordan: "I always go a few steps, then fall on my tush."

Katie: "You can crawl, right? We'll help you with the rest."

Jordan: "Really?"

Little Mick: "Really! Let’s go!" :D

Jordan: "Well, ok." (He pushes up, struggling to his feet) "Here I go! I'm up!" (He walks a few steps...but falls again) "Aw!"

Katie: "Come on, Jordan! You can do it!" (She and the twins take off, with Jordan crawling as fast as he can behind them)

Jordan: "Guys, hold on! I'm not as fast as you!"

(The twins and Katie scamper over to the vending machines as "Teardrop City" begins. Katie points up...and up...at the big soda machine and the machine with the buttons that displays candy, cookies, and chips.)

*The twins push a chair over to the machines. Little Mick climbs up in front of the snacks machine and presses buttons. After a few moments, the machine hums, then dispenses a bag of potato chips. Shelly reaches into the bottom compartment and pulls the bag out, grinning.*

(Katie pushes buttons, too. She reaches in and gets a package of cookies. She breaks it in half and gives it to Jordan when he arrives. He sits by the machine and gobbles it, making a mess.)

(Katie runs over to behind the shoe counter. Jordan stays at the vending machine with his cookie as Katie tries on shoes.)

*The twins move the chair to the soda machine. This time Shelly presses the buttons. The machine eventually vends a bottle of Coca Cola. Mick finds the built-in opener on the machine and shows what he's learned from his daddy. He takes a drink of the soda and grins proudly.*

(Katie comes back over to the twins, showing off the huge pair of shoes and bowling shirt she's wearing. She even has on a pair of sunglasses she filched from the Abbies. She's her mommy!)

(We briefly cut back to the girls. Maxine is up. She bowls straight down the middle, then crows when she picks up spares. Emma grumbles as she gets a mere three.)

(Valerie's happier. She has a strike! Jordan cheers from the vending machines as he finishes his cookie.)

(Kimberly gutters. Emma giggles and Kim grumbles.)

(Katie wanders over to the jukebox and watches the record go 'round and 'round.)

*Lauren gets seven and motions for the pin that's wobbling to fall over. Little Mick takes a seat on the floor, laughing. Lauren cheers when the pin finally tips over.*

(Katie takes off the shirt and shoes and looks for the twins. Jordan follows her.)

(Katie finds the twins rolling a ball back and forth, since they can't pick it up. She helps Shelly roll it faster. Jordan tries to help Micky, but there's only so much he can do, since he can't stand yet.)

(Katie points to an unused alley. She wants to play, too!)

*The kids manage to roll the ball to the alley. they put all the oomph they can behind pushing the ball. It rolls a few feet and starts to the gutter, where it falls in and rolls oh-so-slowly down the rest of the alley.*

(There's a lot of "Awwww!"s as the song comes to an end.)

Jordan: "I thought we really had it!"

Katie: "At least we're doing better than some of our mommies are."

Jordan: "Think we should try again?"

Katie: "Should we get the ball, or are we going to need another ball?"

Jordan: (Points at the machine where the ball comes out) "Oh, there's our ball!"

Little Mick: "It's coming to us!"

Katie: "It must like us!"

Jordan: (Reaches up and pats the ball as best he can) "Nice ball!" :D

*The twins chuckle.*

Katie: (Frowns) "But how are we going to get it down?"

Little Mick: "Um...oh..." *frowns*

Katie: "Maybe we could go put on some music on that bright music box instead?"

Shelly: "Good idea!"

Jordan: "I heard Auntie Kimberly and Auntie Maxine call it a 'Jute-Box'!"

Katie: "Let's go play music on the 'jute-box'!"

Jordan: "Maybe they'll have some of our daddies' music! I love Daddy's music!"

Little Mick: "Let’s check it out!"

(The kids toddle off to the jukebox this time, with Jordan following behind, sometimes trying to walk and falling. They stop at the box. Katie picks up a quarter off the floor)

Katie: "The guy who was at the box last dropped this! I heard Papa say it's a quarter. You need quarters to put into jute-boxes and make them work."

Shelly: "Let’s make it work!"

Little Mick: "We need another chair to reach it." *he and Shelly push a chair to the jukebox*

Jordan: "Where does the music come from in the jute-box? Is there a band in there?"

Katie: (Giggles) "No, silly! There's a little record player in there! I saw it when the last guy put a quarter in!"

Jordan: "Oh!" (Frowns as the twins and Katie struggle to climb on the chair) "Be careful, guys! Remember when you fell off the swing set last week and all our mommies got upset and made you sit inside for hours n' hours?"

Katie: (Makes a face) "That wasn't fun."

Little Mick: "We'll be fine!"

Jordan: "You shouldn't have been trying to show off on the swing set, anyway."

Katie: "Micky said I couldn't jump off the swing like he can!"

Jordan: "And you couldn't! You got a bump on your head. How did the twins fall off?"

Shelly: "Micky started twisting his swing around and he hit mine, knocking me off, then he fell off."

Jordan: "I'm almost kinda glad Mommy says I'm still too little for the swings."

Katie: We've almost got it! Got the quarter in, Shel?

Shelly: *on her tip toes, the quarter almost in the slot* "I've almost got it! I need a little boost!"

Little Mick: "I got ya, Shel." *gives her a small boost; the quarter slides into the slot* "We got it in!"

Katie: "Now, we've gotta pick a song!"

Jordan: "Pick a Monkees song!"

Little Mick: *looks at the buttons* "None of us can read! All we can do is pick one and hope it's our daddies!"

Shelly: "So just pick one then, Mick!"

Katie: "And if it's not our daddies, it might be something good!"

Little Mick: "Okay, okay, I'll pick something!" *pushes buttons until a record is finally lifted and placed onto the queue*

(The song turns out to be "Laugh." Katie grins.)

Katie: (Over the music) "Hey, I think that's a daddy song. That's Uncle Davy singing!"

Jordan: "Where?" (Looks around)

Katie: "Not here! On the jute-box!"

Little Mick: "Yeah, it comes from in there! Daddy keeps saying he wants one of these."

Katie: "Let's go back to the mommies and see how their game is going!"

(The kids go back to their mothers as they gather around Daphne. They break from her as the four toddlers plop down on their blanket. The Abbies cheer; Emma, Lauren, and Valerie grumble and roll their eyes as they all take off their shoes and the mothers go over to their children.)

Kimberly: (Over the music) We are so great! ;)

Maxine: We are now the official Queens of the Malibu Bowl-a-Rama!

Emma: Yeah, yeah...

Valerie: (Smiles as she picks up) Hey, why don't we treat the kids to pizza? I'm sure they're ready to eat.

Emma: I can't BELIEVE Kim picked up that last split!

Kimberly: I'm just great.

Maxine: It's called SKILL, Nesmith.

Lauren: It's called being a ringer.

Valerie: Ok, ok, guys, it's just a game. Why don't we eat and celebrate the Abbies' smashing victory?

Kimberly: I'll bet that will make the twins happy.

Emma: Maybe some pizza will cheer me up.

Katie: Pizza! Pizza!

Jordan: Huh?

Little Mick: *chants* Pizza, pizza, pizza! :D

Lauren: Micky, shush! Be good!

(The girls take the kids over to two long tables as Emma and Lauren return the shoes and the Abbies and Valerie head over to the restraint area. A waitress seats them at two tables.)

(Valerie seats Jordan in a high chair and produces some toys for him to play with.)

(The waitress brings water and takes orders. They order two pizzas for the group, two pitchers of soda, and breadsticks.)

(The Abbies continue to talk loudly about their win. Emma rolls her eyes.)

*Lauren takes some napkins, pinches a corner on each and sticks them in her ears so she doesn't have to listen to the bragging.*

(Katie motions to the twins. She's pretending to "bowl." She rolls one of Jordan's balls into some of his blocks and laughs when she knocks them all over.)

(Emma chuckles. Valerie smiles. Jordan claps.)

(The waitress brings out the food. Valerie hands Jordan a breadstick, which he tears apart before eating.)

(All four Abbies reach for their pizza at once. We see some cartoon stars, then the Abbies rubbing their heads and grumbling.)

(Emma pulls apart a slice of pizza for Katie. She eats hungrily.)

*Lauren hands the twins each a slice which they tear into hungrily. Both are burping before Lauren even gets halfway through her own slice.*

(Emma shakes her head as Katie gobbles her pizza, trying to catch up with the twins.)

(Daphne reaches for her fifth slice while the other Abbies are just barely working on seconds.)

Emma: (Sighs and leans back as the song ends) Boy, was that good.

Maxine: The kids sure seemed to enjoy it. I've never seen three-year-olds eat so fast!

Jenny: (Nods at Daphne) And the mother's working on her fifth slice!

Kimberly: Hey, she has an excuse. She's eating for two. (Grins) How's the kid coming, Daphne?

Daphne: So far, so good.

Maxine: Do you know what it's going to be yet?

Daphne: *shakes her head* Davy and I want to be surprised. We've both had to remind each other of that repeatedly.

Jenny: Wish the guys could have joined us, but they're off working on that movie.

Emma: Well, they won't start filming for a while yet. The guys took a few days off to work on the script. (Makes a face) I offered, but Mike said they met folks with some great ideas.

Kimberly: Maybe they could do a superhero thing! You know, action, flying, chasing the Joker, like on the TV show. ;)

Emma: (Mutters) They do that enough in real life. (Lauren elbows her)

Maxine: Besides, that's kid stuff.

Kimberly: Who says? I've read comic books since I was a kid!

Emma: (Leans over Lauren and mutters) Um, speaking of, how's the work on the MonkeeWomen's uniforms coming?

Lauren: *mutters* Mick's nearly done with them. He had me "model" one. I think he's really onto something with those suits.

Emma: Good. It's about time us ladies officially joined the MonkeeMen. We have more kids coming and will need a more concentrated effort to protect them. I know Mike isn't too keen on it, but hell, if Wonder Woman can be a part of the Justice League of America, we can be MonkeeWomen.

Valerie: (Mutters as she wipes Jordan, who finishes off his breadstick) I'm worried about this movie. I've heard some of Peter's ideas for them, and I don't think they're going to make Columbia very happy. I know Jack Nicholson's been in some successful films and Bob and Bert have done a few movies and TV, but their ideas are so counter-culture...

Emma: (Grins) If anything goes wrong, we'll have plenty of help. Mike says Mick is dying to get back into superhero mode now that the guys are staying in the southern California area for a while.

Lauren: "Dying to" is the right phrasing, too. He’s drivin' me nuts.

Emma: (As the Abbies fight loudly over the last slice of pizza) Mike said something about updating the suits and messing around with those four motorcycles the guys bought for themselves, and I KNOW they've been doing something to the MonkeeMobile.

Katie: (Little burp) All done, Mama!

Emma: (Wipes Katie) Wow, you were hungry, weren't you?

Katie: Yeah! Like Shelly n' Mick!

*The twins grin.*

Valerie: We have more than the movie to take care of. We have to protect the kids, Headquarters Records...and Daphne and Lauren while they're pregnant. We know Sheila and Alex love to mess with pregnant women, and we don't need anything else happening to you, either.

Maxine: (As Daphne grabs the last slice and shoves it in her mouth) Hey, that's not fair! You had more than the rest of us put together!

Emma: Cut it out. You guys are worse than the kids.

Valerie: (As Jordan yawns a bit) Oh, someone needs a nap.

Jordan: "Uh...huh..." (his eyes flutter)

Emma: Why don't we head home and see if the guys have arrived yet?

Valerie: And maybe find out what they're doing to the MonkeeMobile.

Emma: And what else they have up their sleeves.

Katie: Wanna see Papa n' Monkee'bile!

Lauren: All I know is that Mick says we'll be surprised.

Valerie: (Gives Jordan a final wipe) I'll pay if someone will take Jordan.

Jenny: I'll get him. He's cute. Such a good little boy.

Valerie: He's so sweet and quiet, just like his father.

(Jenny takes the half-asleep Jordan out of his chair as Valerie rounds up his diaper bag and goes to pay for their meal.)

Katie: "Today was fun, but I can't wait to see our daddies again!" (Frowns) "I heard Mama talkin' 'bout suits n' moto-cikles n' stuff. I wonder what she means?"

Jordan: (Yawns as they follow Valerie out the door of the bowling alley) "I guess we're going to find out!"

Little Mick: "Dad's been making stuff again. I think that's what they mean!"

Jordan: (Closes his eyes) "Just as long...as there's no...trouble..." (He nods off in his mother's arms as they walk out the door.)

Katie: "I hope not!" (The camera follows them as they all head out the door, then moves to the bowling alley...and a shot of the big, bright red "M" in the words "Bowl-a-Rama" over the alleys as we fade out.)
