Certainly! Everyone ready to begin this month's story?

Mike: Let's get to the concert.

Micky: Sure!

Davy: I'm ready.

(We open in a large hotel room. It's a pretty typical room for the 70s, all angular furniture and muted earth tones. Mike and Emma enter, followed by a boy with their luggage.)

Mike: Thanks, kid.

Emma: Here you go, young man. (She hands him some money; he grins)

Boy: Gee lady, thanks! (He walks out, counting his money)

Mike: You over tip the kids.

Emma: Never hurts to over tip the help. That boy might be putting himself through college.

Mike: I wonder if the others have settled in their rooms yet?

Emma: I'm sure we'll be hearing from them soon. We're all on the same floor.

*Suddenly, there's a rattling and squeaking noise coming from an adjoining room.*

Mike: (Rolls his eyes) Which one is that?

Emma: (Looks up and listens) Micky and Lauren. Davy and Daphne make more noise.

Mike: Maybe we oughtta check in on them.

Emma: You do it. You're braver. Besides, I want to start unpacking before the concert.

(Mike nods and heads to the room to their right. He knocks on the door.)

*The door opens. Lauren appears, then motions inside. Micky's jumping on the bed.*

Lauren: Would you like to join in?

Mike: (Groans) Miiick! You're gonna break it!

Micky: No, I'm not! *grins* I'm testing the shocks!

*Lauren groans, slapping her forehead.*

Mike: Mick, we could hear 'ya next door! You'll be testin' the shocks on the bed on the floor under this one if ya ain't careful!

*Micky drops onto the bed. He brings his knees up to his chest and wraps his arms around them.*

Micky: Couldn't you try to just have a little fun? ;)

Mike: I'll have fun on somethin' that don't belong to the hotel. You ain't Keith Moon, bo...Mick.

*Micky just grins, a bit triumphantly.*

Lauren: You have to admit, he hasn't broken one yet.

Mike: Well, come on. I thought we'd head to the concert arena for a sound check.

Micky: *slides off the bed* Okay.

Mike: (Nods at Lauren) You n' Em are free to do whatever you want before the concert. Daph and the Abbies need to do their sound checks, too.

Lauren: We'll check out some of the local shops, then.

Mike: I'm sure Em'll love that. She ain't never been in Canada before. Come to think of it, I ain't, either. We could do some sightseeing before tomorrow’s concert.

Micky: Groovy! :)

Mike: Yeah, this is the only time we'll really get to

sightsee. We're only at the other venues for a day or so.

(Emma joins them at the door. She peeks in.)

Emma: Is it safe?

Mike: Yeah. It was just this goofball jumpin' on the bed. (Nods at Mick)

Emma: (Shakes her head, but she's smiling) Oh Mick!

*Micky grins and shrugs.*

Emma: Mick, we thought...(blushes)...well, have you settled in yet?

Lauren: I unpacked while he jumped.

Emma: Good. Lauren and I will do some shopping while the boys prepare for the concert. We promised all the kids souvenirs.

Mike: Yeah, we gotta call Daph, Dave, and the girls and see if they're ready.

Emma: (Takes Mike's arm) Come on, honey. Let's finish

unpacking.

Micky: You finish unpacking. I'll go back to what I was doing. ;)

Mike: (Sighs; then, to Emma) Sure, darlin'. (Nods at Mick and Lauren as they walk out) We'll meet you downstairs, if there's anythin' left.

Lauren: See you in a little bit. *as she closes the door* Mick, at least let me jump a few times!

(We fade out on the sound of more rattling and squeaking coming from Lauren and Micky's room and in on an overhead shot of concert in an arena. There's screaming as the boys play "Listen To The Band," but not as much as in the previous concert video in Utah. Emma and Lauren are right out in the front row. Daphne and the Abbies watch from the wings.)

*Micky has the drum kit that has the word "DRUM" on the bass drum.* ;)

(Mike wears his American flag shirt and plays Black Beauty. He briefly grins at Emma, who grins back, before returning to his usual impassiveness)

*Davy grins at Daphne.*

(There's a cheer from the crowd that's not quite a deafening roar when they finish.)

Mike: You havin' fun, all you folks in the Great White North?

(Another cheer from the crowd.)

Mike: Well, I think it's time our boy Mick came and did what God meant him to do - be insane. (He moves aside)

Micky: *jumps out from behind the drums* You bet, Mike!

Mike: (Wiggles a finger in his ear as Davy takes the drums) Shout a little louder, Mick. I can still hear out of this one.

Micky: Sorry, Mike. *grabs a microphone* Alright! Boys, a little "Goin' Down" please!

(Mike, Davy, and the back-up band begin "Goin' Down" as Micky starts doing his moves.)

*Micky does his jive dance as the stage lights alternate colors. During a bridge, he trips. When Mike tries to get him up, Micky says he can't get up. They exchange several times, then Micky jumps up right before the verse.*

(Mike rolls his eyes and returns to his playing, but he is smiling. ;) )

(Micky's number ends with a burst of applause...but it's still not a deafening roar.)

Emma: (To Lauren, as we cut to up front) Is it me, or does it feel quieter than usual during one of these North American tours?

Lauren: *nods* It isn't quite as loud, but it's still a good crowd.

Emma: Yeah, but the guys can usual fill a good-sized stadium. This is far from a sell-out crowd.

Lauren: Good point.

Micky: Thank you, thank you! And now, for the

Velvet-voiced midget...David Thomas Jones!

Davy: *hands off the drum sticks* Thanks, Mick, I think. (Turns to the wings) I do 'ave a question. Why do I always 'ave to follow

'is act? ;)

Micky: *calls out* Just lucky, Dave!

(Mike can't help laughing. A lot of the crowd in the front rows do too, including the girls.)

Davy: *grins* Here's a sweet little numbah, "Nice To Be With You."

*Davy does his usual croon to the crowd, even ending up on his knees at one point. He continually glances off the side of the stage at Daphne.*

(Emma sits back, smiling and eyeing Mike, who eyes her back.)

*Micky waves to Lauren from behind the drum kit.*

(The Abbies all giggle at Daphne. They know whom Davy's singing to!)

*Daphne blushes brightly.*

Emma: (Looks at her watch) The concert should be over soon. Wanna meet the guys backstage, then maybe see if they're up for a late dinner?

Lauren: You have to ask?

(The girls duck out as Davy finishes his number. We get a quick glance of Davy bowing...then turning to the wings to bow especially for Daphne.)

*Daphne fans herself as the other Abbies hold her upright.*

(Cut to backstage. Emma and Lauren join the Abbies as the boys finish up a medley of their hits with "I'm A Believer.")

Emma: Hi, guys. (Grins) Feeling well, Daph?

Daphne: Yeah, just a little warm. ;)

Maxine: A little? Man, she almost melted right into the stage!

*Daphne elbows Maxine.* ;)

Emma: We're going to grab some grub after the concert. Wanna join us?

Maxine: (Grins) Sure!

Jenny: Sounds like fun! (Sighs) I wish Chris and the Martians were here, but they're working on a new album in LA and couldn't come.

Kimberly: Yeah, but we can call them everyday free on

Headquarters' bill. ;)

(The boys all bounce backstage. Mike immediately goes to Emma.)

Mike: (Grins) Hi, darlin'.

Emma: Hi, Baby. You were mesmerizing.

*Micky wraps himself around Lauren.*

Mike: You're just sayin' that.

Emma: No, I mean it. You guys do great in front of a crowd!

*Davy saunters over to Daphne, who seems to melt all over again.*

Maxine: (As she helps Daphne back up again) Yeah, you're almost as good as us!

Mike: Maybe someday. ;)

Emma: We thought you boys might be hungry after your concert and you sign autographs.

Mike: (Looks at Micky) Us? Nahhh. We'll go straight home and hit the sack. Who needs to eat after that adrenaline rush?

Kimberly: I'm starved!

Maxine: You're always starved.

Mike: Well, that's one vote. Anyone else wanna go eat?

Micky: You have to ask?

Jenny: (Shrugs) Might as well. It'll be more fun than room service, anyway.

Mike: Ok, ladies, we'll meet you outside after we change and sign autographs.

Emma: (Kisses Mike) Don't let the girls trample you too badly, ok?

Mike: I ain't the one they're fond of tramplin'. (Nods at Micky and Davy)

*Micky and Davy glance at each other, then shrug.*

Emma: Just be careful. (She lets him go, and he heads out with the boys as the girls go in the opposite direction)

(Fade out on the bustling backstage area; fade in on a

glamorous 70s penthouse, with lots of fancy angled furniture, silk pillows, and shag carpeting. Sheila sits on the huge canopy bed, reading a magazine.)

Sheila: (Looks at her watch) Damn it, where are they? They should have at least been back from the concert by now!

*There's a noise from outside the door.*

Sheila: (Sighs) I'll get it. (She grabs a silk lounging kimono from the chair next to the bed and goes to the door)

*The door opens to reveals Alex and Zelda making out. They fall over and into the room as the door opens.*

Sheila: That can't be a comfortable place to make love.

Alex: *glares* It was just fine until you opened the door.

Sheila: Well, how did the concert go? (Smirks) And how did setting up for our newest plan go?

Alex: *as he and Zelda get up* The concert was interesting. Setting up the new plan went off without a hitch.

Sheila: Zelda dear, this was an absolutely brilliant plan on your part. (Looks at Alex) Let's hope it works better than some other people's plans.

*Alex glares, folding his arms.*

Zelda: *smirks* Thank you, Sheila.

Alex: *to Zelda* Suck up.

Zelda: You should know.

Sheila: You're welcome, Zelda. And Alex, that's not nice. She did come up with a lovely plan, did she not?

Alex: I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the plan.

Zelda: He's just jealous.

Sheila: Now, you both know your parts. Zelda, you're

especially important. The others can't know anything's wrong.

Zelda: *smirk turns into a smile* There won't be anything wrong.

Sheila: Alex, you're in charge of your brother and, of

course, the new machinery.

Alex: Naturally.

Sheila: Zelda, as soon as the concerts are over, I want you to bring the White Knight and the Lord of the Manor to me. The White Knight in particular is a...ahem...personal favorite. (Makes a face) You can do what you want with the remaining women. ;) :p

Zelda: Consider it done.

Sheila: Did you talk to the hotel people? Find out where

they're going tomorrow?

Zelda: It's all set.

Sheila: And you know the animal we're going to use?

Zelda: *smirks* Yes.

Sheila: Very well, then. Carry on. (Smirks) In your own room, of course.

Alex: Of course. ;)

(Sheila grins as Alex carries Zelda into the next room. She returns to her bed and her magazine, whistling "Goin' Down.")
